Exact Audio Copy and track gaps

So I'm ripping my CDs to FLAC with EAC however even if I use gap detection and get a result of 00:00:00 on the gaps, upon export the tracks still have gaps in then on non stop CDs. Does anyone use EAC to rip their CDs and have any advice? I've tried different detection methods and various other thing but can't seem to get tracks ripped wi5hout gaps during playback. Any help is appreciated.
