I hear no tekno in that whatsoeverGeezus, it sounds more like some raging Hyper Techno song in that sample rather than Eurobeat!

When was this ever an issue? Just refer back to the atrocity that was 'Para Girl', which Avex released on three different compilations in one month. Now Avex will do the same thing with 'Monkey Dance.'Brisk wrote:So Monkey Dance was added onto the Long Versions list on the IIDX Empress OST. Interesting that it's being released twice in April.
That's mainly because GGMs uses those atrocious "Airy synths" for her songs. Hopefully Monkey Dance will feature harder synths used in Thomas Marin and Manuel songs, because that Youtube preview itself sounded allrightGatti's older songs also received mass airplay, but it was all justified since they were actually pretty good. There's something about her newer releases that's just so irritating and jangly, they're borderline unlistenable.
Y&Co used the same synths from the original; it's not a GGM production as much as it is a Y&Co one. GGM will still sound just the way they are unless they themselves change drastically.drnrg wrote:JayThat's mainly because GGMs uses those atrocious "Airy synths" for her songs. They're also the rage in the eurobeat community in Japan so the chances of them changing they're instrumentations especially since it's so successful is slim to none.zoupzuop2 wrote:Y&Co used the same synths from the original; it's not a GGM production as much as it is a Y&Co one.
