Oh okay! No wonder then, that vocalist was active under that label too (i.e. Boom Boom In My Heart), and somehow, all of her songs, no matter what producer is behind it or what label it's out on, share a very common feeling, a similar vibe. My though on this was that she might give her input on the writing of most of the songs she sings in, but we know so little about her it's hard to be sure.

I tink that Gilardi is the one producer she worked with the most, right? That could also explain this phenomenon, at least partially.

Funny you should mention that. I think it's the case with most vocalists that sing at different labels. Caria, Magnani,Moroni, Jimmy Diamond, Farina.

I always get soooo jealous when I see an actual physical CD rather than just a jpeg file on a PC screen of the cover - it makes me want to hear what's inside the case soooo badly :P

6 days till the iTunes release - bring it on!!

Only 2 days left, I can't wait to hear the songs on this album, although I'm not as excited as I've been with earlier releases.

The album is available for purchase now on iTunes Japan.

As promised on the SEB blog, there are 3 versions of Take A Look In My Heart - the SEB version (which is the one from the sample), the Healing Version (with no beat, like a chill-out version) and the Bossa Version (pretty much self-explanatory).

Some initial thoughts:

The intro to Your Barbie Girl sounds so much like the intro to Quiero El Amor by Paul Harris. Love the hook in that track though - reckon it will probably be a favourite of mine :)

Plastic is a fairly generic SCP painting-by-numbers male track with nothing really new coming to the party. The vocals sound a bit like Jager in the verses.

Nobody Loves Me Like You Do has quite a unique vocal melody and some nice touches, but it won't change the GGM critics' opinion of the label.

Little Little Star is just plain weird - it sounds like some weird anime song, and is barely recognisable as a Jay Lehr track. I do have a feeling though that it may gain a cult following, especially in Japan.

Somebody To Love is all kinds of epic - the synths used are so rich and layered and they create an amazing atmosphere in my headphones! Top track after the first full listen-through.

Little Lies is a cute dance track that at least strays from the generic Saifam formulas of the past couple of years.

It's All Up To You is, as expected, a massive departure for the Hi-NRG Attack label. Amusingly, the main synth hook sounds a lot like Axel F (or for younger listener, the Crazy Frog tune). The verse/bridge and chorus sections don't seem to link together very well, but that may just be an initial impression.

Kiss My Boo Boo is just ridiculous - a complete waste of album space in my opinion. Sinclaire is still going with his hyper-beefy kick drum, which doesn't really work in this track for me - like a children's party that has suddenly been taken over by an underground rave DJ!

Very small review, I haven't even heard some of the songs in full version (so i skipped some parts of songs).. but these are my first impressions :)

1. Dave Rodgers - The Game Is The Game
This is A-Beat C on its highest level, epic style of Eurobeat.
The power flows through my veins when I listen to this song, the strong intro with great sounding guitars gives me a big smile. This is what A-Beat C has been lacking the past albums, epic vocal style. It's a very good song, the chorus is stuck in my head all the time!
9/10

2. Karen - Evergreen
The song that I bought from the Karen collection some time ago, I like Karen's vocals and this makes me think of the Eurobeat Disney era. Happy style, but good (old) A-Beat C style.
Nice song!
7/10

3. Vicky Vale - Your Barbie Girl
Very good intro that makes me anxious to hear the rest of the song, the riff is Capaldi style.. but ok. I haven't got much to say about this song, I don't really like the vocals. The melodies aren't my cup of tea either.
6/10

4. Hotblade - Plastic
PERFECT GUITAR INTRO!!! Perfect, perfect perfect!
Energetic riff, great voice of ''Hotblade'', very special song.
This song is gooooooood!
9/10

5. Radiorama - You Are Always On My Mind
Much better than the EuroPanic version, this version is quite cute I think like synths SAIFAM used in this version. Good song but compared to other songs on this album not that good.
6/10

6. Ester - Nobody Loves Me Like You Do
I like Ester's vocals, and the intro sounds awesome too. But why on earth did they reverse her vox in the intro. And the riff doesn't fit to the song very well either. The chorus is fantastic!
7/10

7. Jay Lehr - Little Little Star
I'm sure that many people will have their doubts about this song, it's very experimental style.
Sadly enough not the style I like, the effect of the voice is ok! The bridge sounds very good, but then the chorus.. I just don't know what to think of it. It's full of effects and it's special but hmmm. No I'll just have to listen a couple of times to this song to get used to it.
7/10

8. Sara - Little Love
Wooooo! EuroPanic! style!!!!!!
I WANT MY LITTLE LOVE.. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
This is absolutely amazing, I love the song!
You can just hear the Ravenant influences in this song which are really amazing, I like his style so much. Almost every Hi-Site song is amazing, and he manages to make every DELTA song he worked on attractive to me. The energy is poppin' out of this track.
10/10

9. David Dima - Somebody To Love
David Dima and his epicness at the highest level.
10/10

10. Sarah - Little Lies
Hmm.. quite slow song. Not very special, I haven't got much to say about this song.
6/10

11. Cy-Ro - It's All Up To You
Now this is a very interesting song, usually I'm not a big fan of Hi-NRG Attack.. but this time they managed to create a very good song. The transition to the riff was quite unexpecting for me, it's a small transition but I like it.. it gives the song some kind of a different dimension. The verses aren't very special, the bridge is much better. This '80s style track makes me feel happy, the piano at the background of the chorus is good too..
9/10

12. Mom and Dad - Kiss My Boo Boo
Sorry, I really don't like this
?/10

13. TRF - Survival Dance -No No Cry More- (Dima Music Remix)
Very special, I didn't expect it to be THIS good.
Great guitars which make me think of Nicole Lee's songs, beautiful!
10/10

14. Desire' - Take A Look In My Heart
Great funky style, beautiful disco style song...
I'm a big fan of the original Take A Look In My Heart, the healing style of this song sounds very good too! Although this is no eurobeat.. I do like it. Good work!
9/10

As far as first impression goes, I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one. Little Love is a damn good song. I am not going to go on about the technical details but this song is pretty irresistable and is unlikely to have too much changes where ranking is concerned.

I am not really "clicking" with "Somebody To Love" and "Little Little Star" at the moment but I feel that it's not all bust, Especially the former.
You and me like a fire tonight
Me and you 2 guardian angels
Now I feel your touch into my heart
A ray of sun~

I really like Little Little Star and Kiss My Boo Boo a lot. The former is such a nice change from the usual eurobeat style and sounds like an A-Ha track combined with futuristic SCP synths.

I'm honestly kind of disappointed by Somebody To Love, as the synth and verse didn't excite me as much as I'd hoped. It may grow on me though, since I've only heard it once so far.

There are a handful of other nice songs on this album, too. It's not really the best I've ever heard, but it's a strong entry in the series that I'd definitely say is a step up from SEB 204.

My iTunes play count tells the story of my faves from this album so far...

1. David Dima - Somebody To Love (5 times)
2. Sarah - Little Lies (3 times)
3. Cy-Ro - It's All Up To You (3 times) (although this is more trying to get used to the odd mix of retro beats and the Axel F. synth hook!)

All of the others have 2 plays currently, except Little Little Star and Kiss My Boo Boo which have 1 play each. Little Love has no plays since I already know I don't massively like the track from the Eurobeat Masters compilation.

Is there a reason why the SCP tracks are the sucky 4:00 mins of yeasteryear? Can't they get with the program or are we supposed to make our own extended with those instrumental versions they offer on itunes?

It's not a bad idea, but at least make a it a two cd deal for those who don't do Itunes.

I will say that the Cy-Ro track works wonderfully if you speed it up a bit. At least to the bpms of Stargate. 8) Those who liked All Is Magic .will like it; others will probobly loath it.

The same goes for Jay's song , but slow it down a bit and got a new Jay Lehr flava. The song gets a 10 for the riff alone.

Anyway with those effects added; those two songs are my favs. 8)

While Kiss My Boo Boo has totally ridiculous lyrics; the riff is prety dam good and would work with a different theme. At least I think so, because it's a happy song done the right way.

Dave & Dima have super reliable traditional Eurobeat songs and Hotblade is definately Rocking my world the way a new Chris Stanton track would.

Your Barbi Girl and You Are Allways On My Mind round out the others I really enjoyed.

The Dall Ora track was kinda dissapointing(except for the third part) and I would much rather have heard new material from him ala Phil & Linda style. It's nice, but compares pale to Vanity's remake.

That Survival track reminds me of that new Shakira song; Waka Waka. I hate songs about nonsence that I can't understand. Besides I think they should have used Dall Ora's remix of the song. It's better IMOP.

you gotta remeber all those crazy frogs, David Guettas, and DJ Tiestos are just rehashing old Italo melodies in thier songs.

Anyway, a nice little cd with a lot of upbeat feel in it's songs. Plus the two songs I thought would turn me off, turn out as my favs.

That's Eurobeat for U. very unpredictable.

I'll do the review once I get my actual cd

Definitely better than 204. I found the tracks selected really showcase the labels trying new things with their sound and style.

Kiss My Boo Boo sounds like the result of Sinclaire Style sleeping with SCP. Somebody to Love really gives me a really strong Star Pilots vibe wih the hot rolling 80s basslines grooving things up 8)

I think the only track I really disliked was the new Jay Lehr. :???:
