I kind of like the sound of Obladi Oblada! It has a very classic feel to it. I will be purchasing that soon!

1. Energy Girls- Candy- I think I already how much I like this song and especially her vocals. She sounds kinda concieted in the verses, but I like it. I can imagine her teasing the boys with a lollipop licking.
:D

2. Valerie Scott- Now & Forever- Has a real heavy 80's Saifam vibe. Reminds me of the songs by Andrea. It's actually very well produced melody-wise.
:)

3. Milk & Coffee- Cinderella- This would have been so much better if it had a meloncholic melody, like My Heart & My Soul. The way it's now; it doesn't do a thing for me. Even the vocals sound bad.
:(

4. Lupin- Once More- I perfer Roby's vocals for Lupin, but I actually like this song. It's different from the norm for Saifam. Especially the way the chorus is sung by just sneaking the title in the last line.

5. Hooligang- Japan Champion- I don't like this at all. It's silly as hell for Mauro. I now it's about Football, but even the way he is singing is making fun of himself.
:(

6. Mark Foster- Obladi Obladi- What a crap title is the first thing that comes to mind. sounds like Oh Bloody. Now that aside, the song has a killer melody and Mauro sounds really good, but why that title?
:)

I thought you must have heard Radiorama - Radiorama Sing 'The Beatles' where Mauro already sang those words?

I kind of have mixed feelings for Obladi Oblada right now. It's tries hard to stand out from the bland formula that Asia has been stuck in lately, but the production values aren't all that great and it's probably one of Mauro's weakest vocal performances to date. It could grow on me, but right now I still think the label is definitely undergoing a dry period; 2005 to 2006 was definitely the peak of their productions for me, and I'm pretty disappointed that only a few songs (such as Tokyo Tonight and Diabolik, both of which were co-written by someone else) really live up to the incredibly fresh and diverse level of Saifam productions from then.

On a second note, I'm crossing my fingers that Hate And Love / Tamika will be posted within a few weeks - that's one of my favorite Saifam female tracks ever, up with Hey Bandido / Laurie, Hey Guy / Laurie, and Magic Butterfly / Radiorama!

hahha! True, but I never liked that song, so it made no lasting effect on me.

ASIA 1210 Lara- Surrender- Not digging this Lara trax too much. I can't believe this is the same Lara who performs Game? This is borderline too happy. The only part that is passable is the bridge.
:(

ASIA 1211 Tipsy & Tipsy- Simon Samurai- This more like it. Kinda reminds me of Welcome Samurai chant from F.C.F's "Samurai". It has a proper hi Energy Italo riff and melody to accompany the jumpy synths. The Simon Samurai chorus sounds alike like Laurie's hey Boy, so add another 1 point for that.
:D

ASIA 1212 Ken Martin- Japanese Girl- well known Mauro Farina melody and singing style oooze from this song, but that is just what I like about it. The riff sounds kinda diiferent so that adds to the spice.
:D

ASIA 1213 Sara - With My Fire - Nice little number that sounds especially sweet in the verses. At least to me, that's the style I like. The chorus has a well known melody that is easy to get into and that riff screams Saifam.
:D

Three bog hits and one miss is hoew they turn out this round.
