You can't expect HRG to cut the umbilical cord and start producing songs along the same lines as 'Chiller Shock', 'Welcome to the Future', etc. again. This new direction that HRG have taken is undoubtedly a positive development in their history and, who knows, in a couple of years they may have regained their EBF mojo fully.

Like I've always said though, HRG really do need new vocalists, especially if they want to return to their EBF sound.
But who said they wanted to return to their EBF sound, though? I doubt that it is their intention. Judging by their history, they seem to usually milk out a soundworld to the bone before they move on and try something new, so I wouldn't be surprised if we hear this current style of them for a little while more.
I just made note if they were going to go back to slower BPMs, they could recreate some of the awesome synths and melodies from their EBF days, but it's all a moot point since they probably won't. Haha.

Oh my god, drnrg is gonna CREAM for the Magic of Sunshine - it sounds soooooo much like SAW 80's productions. It's actually really good, and not a carbon copy of HTSIS IMO. The intro and main hook in particular are epic!!

I'm going to have to leave this album alone for now. It actually takes quite a lot of time for me to download all the songs from Musico, burn them to a CD, increase the volume in a music software, convert them to mp3 format, and finally enter in all the necessary information on iTunes. I'm nearing the end of the first school quarter, and as a result my workload has been awful for the past several days. I'll probably buy and comment on it once I'm at least near the end of the week or maybe sometime during the weekend.

What music software do you use for increasing the volume? :)

Why don't you burn, rip, then use mp3gain to batch gain?

Huh, never heard of mp3gain if that's a software. I usually just like to increase the volume of the mp3 itself and not increase the volume in iTunes, in case that's what your referring to.

Just listened to the album in full, and wow... It's pretty fucking horrible. Other than 'EZ Do Dance', there really were no enjoyable songs on the album. There are maybe one or two that will grow on me, but other than that, it's a stinker of an album.

Back to 207 for me...

Invisible Touch is definitely the hit of the 208s. Never Gonna Make, Memories Of You, and Jungle of Fire are pretty good tracks too. I'm glad I liked some songs on this album, I haven't kept any 200s decade SEB albums on my playlist since 203.

mp3gain increases the volume from within the mp3 file. It doesn't increase the volume in iTunes. The site can explain it better than I can. Plus for audiophiles, it tells you if increasing it to a certain volume height will distort or clip the file.
