EuroKudos 8 available on bandcamp for 8$ US. No new stuff, no new extended (à la "Disconnected (Euroext)")... just the past 11 SCP tracks from SEB 242.

As much as it's painful, those ARE the extended versions. A-Beat-C and Hi-NRG Attack (mostly), all had their times with 4-min extended. Current-era SCP & GGM are in that "era" of their life I guess which is too bad.

I think they're still Radio Edit.

Disc 1 say Extended version for a length of 5:18, but the 2nd disc who is for instrumental (digital only) is 4:07 last.


In the 230 and 240 era :
SCP → SEB Version
Hi-NRG Attack → Extended
SinclaireStyle → SEB Mix
Delta → Full Mix Version
Sun Fire → {title} Mix
Gogo's Music → SEB Version
ASIA → The Factory (Eurobeat) Mix
Dima Music → Extended

We can see 3 labels with the suffix "SEB", now let's have a look the time. SinclaireStyle are always 5:xx last. Very long for a radio edit. Only Gogo's Music and SCP are radio edit aka SEB Version.
Now we go back in time, Gogo's Music become SEB Version (Radio edit) with SEB222 (no appearance on SEB221).



Now for SCP, in the 200 era, their songs got the suffix "Eurobeat Version"
Eurobeat Version : CooLoveR (4:24), Hanky Panky (4:14), I Won't Fall Apart (4:20)
Extended ver. : Send Me An Angel (5:26), The Snake Around (5:27), Forever Fly (5:17), Promised Discoland (5:18)

Then Eurobeat Version become SEB Version with SEB205

If we take a look of the release ACE - Special Bandcamp Selection, Me & You is 5:24 last (4:38 for SEB206) but no suffix is used in this release. It also appear in EuroKudos with the suffix Extended version.
For Hi Love, it appear in EuroKudos vol.2 for a length of 4:49, the suffix is eurobeat extended version on junodownload. The ones who stay with their SEB release time, the suffix is eurobeat version.

Latest SCP extended released to the public was Inside My Soul. Called SEB Version on SEB231 for a length of 4:02. It was later released on EuroKudos Special Bandcamp Selection as Extended Version with a length 5:13.

This long text to say that if you got the suffix SEB Version while extracting the CD, they are radio version.

"SEB Version" means nothing. It could be "Original Mix" for all we care. Maybe SOME had an extended made but Avex said "No. Shorter." then they made a somewhat shorter version that AVex finally approved and, then, they stopped bottering making them longer. If there really was an extended version, I think they would have released them on EuroKudos where they got no such restriction.

Someone who accept digital format of music will be happy of publishing the packs like Eurokudos.

If label doesn't care of own releases outside of SEB, it would be absolutely useless that since 1996 (!!!) prepare and keep any other versions. Maybe this is easy to make so labels had later all versions as for singles, nowadays exotic term in Eurobeat...

For CD lovers, collectors, since 1996 Avex Trax started killing extended Eurobeat, that's fact. An new occasion appears in form of digital sale, but not with this commercial company.

In a way you are right. SEB Version could mean anything that AVEX wants. Even some edited version of the original extended. SomeTIMES AVEX would straight out lie and say Extended version. Does anyone remeber this travesty

The list goes on. I already had the vinyls, but imagine , searching The Maharaja night volumes, to have your extended in Mp3 form and find out it's nothing but A lie.

As far as SCP is concerned. All the extendeds of the songs I have from them are way better than the SEB versions, so I'm positive that extended of these new songs would be even better. Maybe it's like you say? AVEX drained the desire from them to make extendeds?
