Gino Caria- Nobody Knows. TIME records
Killer song. One of the best and fastest for that year. The intros and breaks. There were quite a few special breaks throughout the song, were really amazing.

Gino was also one of the few artists in Eurobeat history who used thier own name on two labels AbeatC and TIME. It wasn't 'till later that I realized that he had been singing at TIME all alone, under Lou Grant, Teddyboy, Chester,Dave Hammond, Thomas T. ect ect ect..

But it's a little hard to enjoy because of the horrific over-compression and - at some points during the song - harsh clipping.

Whoever mastered SEB Vol. 214 needs to be slapped upside the head.

(okay, so the rest of the album is done pretty well, but seriously, Passport to Dance sounds like complete garbage)
I love the song too but I don't listen to it too often because of the reason you mentionned. In fact, I even emailed SincalireStyle about it and they said that it's mastered like that because people think louder music makes it sound better. BS.

It really is unlistenable thru regular pc speakers. Forget laptops. It sounds o.k. on my p.c. with a subwoofer. basically I have the soundsystem of a home stereo on my p.c., which got when I realized Eurobeat was getting louder and "fartier". Problem solved  I will agree that the explosions are overdone to death.

I'll second the nation as my song of the day, only because I think I might enjoy its sound a bit more than some of you.

GO 2 / SAMURAI BLUE

Some people say the intro reminds them of SUPER STRIKER; it also reminds me of a Japanese War drum, the Taiko.

It makes me think less of soccer, and more of clear blue skies, green fields, and two colliding armies from Sengoku Era Japan.

Da Burning Tokyo / Tokyo Future

Nando Bonini has very quickly become my favorite male eurobeat vocalist in the past year or so. Something about his voice just really strikes home with me. His tone is very unique in that it's deep and manly, yet melodic in a sort of nasal way at the same time. His material tends to be quite memorable.

Just wondering if you are taking into account his earlier TIME/Stil Novo/Disco Energy works or his DELTA material or both? He does sound quite different on all accounts. For instance on the Da Burning Tokyo his tone is quite higher than say Hot Love- Mike Hammer, where as its more relaxed.

If we are talking on DELTA years era, then I'd say I like his tone best on his EDO Boys and Man Power songs, where I felt it came closest to the one on his TENSION and Maio & Co. songs.

Anyway, In keeping with Nando favs; I'll choose.

(Disco Energy 1010) Manuel Stepanoff- How Many TIMEs
Great underated Italo NRG early 90's classic.

I enjoy Nando's work across the board, whether it be Time, Delta, SinclaireStyle, or anything else. Whether he's rocking heavy anthems like Heartbreaker and Big Mouth or lending his quirky vocals to Leonardi's rhythmic productions, I've found he tends to bring a lot of fresh life into almost anything he performs on. His vocals definitely tend to be pitched higher on Leonardi songs, and at first I thought they sounded odd, but I've since come to find them unusually charming.

While we're on the subject of Nando, I Need Your Mystery is one of my favorite Delta tracks of all time. It utilizes Nando's potent vocals to full effect, with a perfect tune and solid production to match.
