I am as much a fan of the label as you, in fact, they pretty much define SEB for me nowadays (To paraphrase drnrg : If Sun Fire were to stop producing, I might just stop listening to SEB). To be fair though, Sun Fire is a totally different animal from A-Beat-C, it's natural that some people are going to be very vocal about it when their "sounds" are so different and Sun Fire tends to have a rather "exotic" way of producing which won't hit home with many, but that's just how it is. It's also technically "true" that Evelyn Malferrari can never be a "true" replacement for Denise De Vincenzo, she is and always will be A-Beat-C's premier female voice but Malferrari has her own merits too (Well, maybe not I'm Superstar ...... but I digress)Crockett wrote:It's a good time to explain a few important details.
Basing on some latest opinions, I think that some of Eurobeat fans forgot the last years.
I am only faithful fan of A.Beat-C. and Sun Fire Records, because of many reasons, which I won't find in the another labels, so I can't say not much about them.
So, Denise De Vincenzo wasn't replaced by Evelyn Malferrari, how was suggested. Most of A.Beat-C. team just left label. Since then is quite good known, how looked the period 2008 - 2010 - many remixes and only single tracks. That is not new fact.
Sun Fire Records founded Evelyn Malferrari with Giancarlo Pasquini and it is her property ! Every of you should take it into account.
And finally coming back to new Super Eurobeat Vol. 233 - both of tracks were produced ONLY by Evelyn Malferrari.
Giancarlo Pasquini is the most involved in 2015 in Aleph back.
Please, give a chance this girl, because new Futura and Rich Hard are refreshed and good job.
That's normal. People will see how much the quality of productions - among other things - have changed over the years and will complain or will praise. Always been like that.Crockett wrote: People grumble before releasing at all, and after too.
I don't understand for example, what is strange with the promotional video, published just in the premiere day. New products aren't advertised only one day or before releasing. Anybody, who will watch, can decide about buying today, per week or next month.
Somebody, who know whole the contemporary Eurobeat, know also what to expect. Sometimes hard to understand these extreme opinions...
Sorry to side track here, but Aleph will be back this year?Crockett wrote: Giancarlo Pasquini is the most involved in 2015 in Aleph back.
Newfeild and Pasquinni on the same label is highly unlilely, but it's alright, since Italo is making major comeback, I'm sure Pasquinni can release his Aleph material on another Italo label or maybe even start up another of his own. He is very instrumental in Music bizz.I hope in true 80's style eurobeat!
It would be great to see him on Flash Back Records, where Laurent Gelmetti (Newfield) is already producing 80's style Italo.
There was already an Aleph revival at A-Beat C in the late 1990s, though Giancarlo Pasquini didn't sing on any of the three tracks except for backup. My best guess is that this time Aleph is just going to be another one of Giancarlo Pasquini's Sunfire aliases alongside Dave Rodgers, in the same way Hi-NRG Attack revived the Billy the Butcher and Gordon Jim aliases for Fulvio Malvicino 18 years after they were last used. The names are purely for nostalgic appeal, perhaps a desperate attempt to revive interest in the series again.synthjunkie wrote:Sorry to side track here, but Aleph will be back this year?Crockett wrote: Giancarlo Pasquini is the most involved in 2015 in Aleph back.
I remember thinking that a while ago after seeing a photo on facebook about that, but wasn't sure whether it was a joke or not, or something fan-made.
It's hard to clearly define, what exactly it will be. "Flying To Me 30 Years After" sounds almost identically like "Fly To Me", therefore probably we can expect the anniversary version with the same lyrics, new arrangement, more Eurobeat style, but rather classical. This is my prediction.synthjunkie wrote:Sorry to side track here, but Aleph will be back this year?
