I usually let people hear the eurobeat remix of "Dragostea Din Tei" because everyone already knows that song. Hell, my parapara team and I used that song in our last performance, because it's a song everyone knows.

Yeah, I still get the whole 'techno' and 'ddr music' thing from people everytime they hear it. It doesn't bother me the way it used to. If that's what people want to call it...so what?

I call Eurobeat techno or electronic to be very vague. When people hear it, they finally realize it's not like the other dance genres out there.

WHY!? That song is somewhat of a disgrace to the Eurobeat...

I always found Night of Fire to be a good example of Eurobeat, so I usually have them listen to that to get an understanding of want Eurobeat is. haha

Listen ,If you are going to introduce Eurobeat to people, make sure you showcase all labels and don't spare them anything. Go right for the throat! Here are my choices

I usually drive around a lot with the windows down and all six powerful BOSE speakers blasting Eurobeat, usually the more rocky and stronger eurobeat with extreme volume.

Then I usually hear the 'fag music for fags' comment from some friends.

I'm wondering if they really are friends.

Heh, my setup is loud alright, but I think I need more power. I don't want to be like those Wiggaz playing Rap with the Bass so high all you're hearing is BOOM THUMP THUMP THUMP BOOM, though. It needs to be clear and powerful. I may need ear muffler headphones if I improve the soundsystem further.

I once drove up in front of this club blasting "Lucky Man" by Dave Rodgers once and one of my guys comes out and starts saying, "Turn that gay shit down, man, seriously, that dude in there is PISSED"

Then later on I asked him about the guy who was angry about it the next day. He said casually that he[The guy]wasn't angry at me but the music was just too gay for him.

I love my friends so much. I want to hug them. Around their necks. Tightly.


I got mine back when I was driving to the gym and he and his friend were outside talking, so I roared by, turning up Ken Martin's Bad World. The look on their faces as this huge white car rolls by them , the sound of the engine drowned out by, really loudly, BAD WORLD, BAD WORLD, NO MORE SATISFACTION, (synth line) was awesome.

Usually Boom Boom Beat and HRG Attack sound great on Car Stereos. I have never gotten that "Gay Music" comment you speak of not even when I play my older Italo or SAW trax. I pity the fool who call Eurobeat "gay"

I said it before: I'm glad to live in Europe where electronic music is wildely accepted... Gay music is only gay if it's really gay... And still it will be accepted as 'good'(?) music... For example O-Zone. (which most people consider gay) It was a huge hit in Europe... I liked it a lot!

A lot of people in my area (Vancouver, BC) associate this music to either Anime or DDR. It's not nessesarily a bad thing as both fads are widely accepted here these days; but when I say I don't play DDR and dislike Anime... people start to rase an eyebrow to why I'm listening to music such like Eurobeat.
