A true extended mix is not repetitive by any means. It has a wonderful, creative musical break in it. You get to hear the beauty of the instrumentation. Plus, true extended mix features creative variety in the vocals or music, not just cut and paste extended.
The current SEB songs either go verse chorus strong music and repeat that forumal 3 times, or if there is any variety in the song, you can be gauranteed the end of the song will be chopped off to keep it within 4 mintues.
Every SEB album has some weak songs, i guess some people prefer 18 short songs with a handful of weak songs over a few less, higher quality songs.
A song is a voyage, and the 4 mintue SEB version starts the voyage and then slams on the brakes.

OK, time to put the SEB price hike in context.
I just noticed on NRGExpress.com that SEB 174 will supposedly be a 2 CD set - no idea what's on the bonus disc yet, but it would at least explain why the price has gone up to 3000 yen.
I would expect it's some bonus non-stop mix, but who knows - perhaps some full length remixes?
