I think 153 was the first full album I listened to.

I started with 169 and I bought it in February but in March I bought some more. I want to buy more soon...

I started seriously buying at the 140s, when I started working and getting some sweet monies . However, I was into Eurobeat since about end of 2001 (when I got into the parapara scene). I even remember voting for Fever The Night for SEB 130

So aside from JEurobeat,Oresama,Toni and Myself, it seems the magority are newbies to Eurobeat. So where are all the fans that started listening from SEB 67 up?I'm also wondering if many of you who collected after seb 100, are aquainted with the style of 70's 80's 90's ? Would seb 97 for example contain many new(read: unheard) titles to some of you?

I have a vinyl with a couple of Kate & Karen songs on one side and two Vanessa on the other.
1. Kate & Karen- The Power Of Life/ Up & Down
2. Vanessa- You Light My Fabtasy/The Final Countdown

Crazy Girls; as far as I remember was not released on Vinyl So maybe you speak of "Up & Down?

I do however have Silver- Your Easy Love with G. Carina vocals, on vinyl and SEB 058 where the same song is clearly sung by C. Magnani. So go figure


As far as the fans inbetween, I'm assuming most of the Eurobeat is heard on the Anniversary millenium megamix. That could also explain why when posting favorites, the same songs always show up and they are songs mostly on mix series. Just a thought

Despite me starting to listen in 2001, doesn't mean I didn't collect all the older albums I could get my hands on (ebay FTW!).

From SEB 50-100 I'm only missing... 53, 56, 57, 59, 63, 68, 72, 75, 82, 89 and 100 the 70s and 80s are probably my favourite decades

Same for me, I backtracked a lot on the SEB history to get the old albums, I was especially fond of the 80s and 90s and got most of the albums as well.

Relatively familiar with all of the eurobeat decades by now. Love them all pretty much evenly, but have to say that the 40s-50s on SEB weren't really all that good for me as a whole. Some good songs on every album I guess, but generally the albums just lack the same potential they have later on and had a bit earlier.

If I remember, it's SEB 167 or 166. Not too long ago so.

The first SEB I listened to was 158 or 159, back in...June 2005 or such I believe, after being forced to listen to Eurobeat by Bore :p

I backtracked hugely on SEB albums after I got hooked - but the story runs a little deeper than that...

In fact, it was specifically the soundtrack to the PS2 Para Para Paradise game that got me hooked in the first place I simply loved the frantic mixing of 45 songs inside 70 minutes. (Actually, at first I thought the entire thing was crazy Japanese music - it was only after further research that I realised just how significant the transition from the ACTUAL Japanese tracks into Night Of Fire really was)

I then downloaded any Eurobeat music I could get my hands on - but since I was totally unfamiliar with the genre (this was over 2 years ago now), I searched on Google for a few songs and turned up... Initial D So my earliest downloads were the Initial D First Stage albums.

Eventually I made the link over to SEB, but my first ever SEB purchase actually turned out to be SEB 99 (just by pure fluke as it was on eBay at the time), followed by SEB 158 from CD Japan.

Since then I've collected in every Eurobeat decade, but mostly from the 50s onwards. But yeah, like a few people, a lot of my favourite songs are in the 70s-90s

I'm lucky, I came into the Eurobeat scene just as SEB 120 was released! But since I was a little kid (11 years old) and started wanting to collect CDs later, I started buying all of the SEB in order starting with SEB 125. I went back and bought most of the 100's before 125. 120~140's era FTW

To compete with Shawaazu (:P), I'm only missing 103,109,111,116,118,119 from SEB 100~current ♥

Wow, I thought people would have started earlier, due to all the immense knowledge most of you posess.
Anyways, I first heard of Eurobeat with Vol. 85, my friend told me about this cool series he was listening to and showed me my first Eurobeat song, Running In The 90s. So, after that he always lent me his cd's and i'd just burn them. The time when I actually started buying them was around 120, and some i've skipped, like the megamixes, but other than that, I guess i've been listening for a while, but mostly just casually.
