By SEB 181's samples, it really sounds like the only Go Go's Music song is Gas Gas Gas. The tracks by Mega NRG Man and Matt Land are too wimpy to be considered GGM. :(

Norma retired from ABeatC, so I guess this is a tribute to her.

She did? Oh no! That's sad!

Also what happened to Karen? She seems also to have vanished...

A lot of A-Beat C's major titles have been disappearing lately (add Mickey B. to that list), but there have been some recent comebacks as well. Since the 170's, we've had some new tracks by Powerful T., Ace Warrior, and Matt Land, all of which were entirely inactive during the 160's (Matt wasn't even around during the 150's).

I'm not going to be missing Norma at all if she's really finished, she can't sing well at all.

Negating for a moment that I can't agree on your appraisal of Norma's singing abilities at all - if her departure really is the case, we're basically left with Powerful T. in her place who really, really can't sing well, at the best of times! :???: Oh, and let's not forget Dave Rodgers!

Heh, well I sure hope ABC still has some good singers left in the stable, most of the ones I've enjoyed the most are either now partly/fully at GGM.

Last time we heard an Elena Gobbi song from A-Beat C was on 173. And the fact that we only had 3 songs by her during the 170s (on A-Beat C) is just blasphemy. Where are the days when she was present on every single album for multiple decades in a row :/ We need some new Go Go's Music titles with Elena on the lead.

Oh and also the fact that out of the 3 songs she made during the 170s for A-Beat C I didn't really like any... well Say You'll Be There was decent, but Screaming & Dance Dance Monsteru *shivers*.

If these people can't sing... how do you think they got into the business? :???:

Good grief, you're right! I was trying to put my finger on what felt so bad about A-Beat C's output this last decade, and that surely is it... By all means, I've really enjoyed some of Annerley Gordon's songs, but their consistency in quality pales in comparison to Lolita - there have been very few Lolita/Go Go Girls tracks with Elena Gobbi I haven't enjoyed compared to the likes of Annalise, which frankly has been a mixed bag in the 170s.

The fact that Elena has appeared so little is even further diminished by the fact that her output was in duet with Annerley in two of those songs (Dance Dance Monsteru, Screaming).

Then again, if Elena has moved to Go Go's completely, perhaps it'll just take a while for them to get plenty of songs out. More crucially, I hope Avex starts giving them equal or greater space than A-Beat C currently has with every album!

Hurray, Great news Ronald. She really does have a lovely voice and many treasure songs. :D By the way, where is Nick Key? After "Black Is The Night" it's all quiet for him. Mr. Pasquinni is great at discovering new talent, so I'm sure we will see new names sure enuff.

I just listened to all of her Euromach releases, and I tried to give her a chance, but her voice, while sugar-coated and sweet, seemed tired and occasionally off-key. I know she had her audience while she was active, but I think eurobeat vocalists should all carry a strong voice to live up to the electronic instruments they're singing over (even though most of Norma's tracks are generally lighter, it still applies enough in my opinion), or else their tracks aren't going to be all that memorable.
