Actually, it comes at an interesting time.

Notice SCP's actions in terms of performing live gigs, and bringing Domino & Co. (Whomever Co. may be in any given case; recently, Giorgia V. ) along for the ride. They seem to be playing to large groups with notable success so far, and at the very least I'm sure Italy noticed the blip on the radar, if at least for a second or two. Perhaps with persistence Italy could be open to a genre it never knew it was cradling?

If you ask me, I say Kudos to SCP for taking matters into their own hands in terms of lives. No longer are the days when AVEX is their only live/gigging outlet and agent... so they've really taken the right steps, and hopefully other labels with big names can follow suit *COUGHABeatCCOUGHDeltaCOUGHSinclairestyleCOUGH*.

Yup, I predicted it 8) Not only that ,but extendeds are making a great comeback everywhere from Newfield's Eurobeat Masters and Missing Files tracks to Saifam, HRG Attack and Vibration all on online purchase options.

Those 4 min edit days are gone. We want our Eurobeat fix to last longer!

Just out of curiosity, since each label has less tracks showing up in the albums wouldn't that mean less income for the labels from the market? :???:

Unless AVEX has raised the rate per song, therefore raising the quality bar like on 188.

Less tracks on Super Eurobeat, you mean?

It means a bit less for Avex with each album purchase, I think. Even so, they still get some of the moolah from online sales (albeit much less so than the "plastic 'n silicon"-- d-don't quote me on that. ^^; ), and the labels still get their dues for however many tracks earned money.

'least, that's what I guess.

Nah don't worry about it, it's preferred that people bump old topics instead of creating duplicates of existing topics. You did the right thing with the search function and doing some good ol' forum necromancy.
