With Dave gone, there ain't a reason to follow eurobeat anymore. Oh well. Thanks Dave for those amazing songs that came out on late 90's and early 2000's
Good luck on your future challenges. Let's hope that we'll see you again.
And yes. Japan has a massive rock scene.
Anotherone? What's wrong with you guys. yes, AbeatC was major factor in the popularity of Eurobeat, but the other contenders are still standing.
There is refreshing in the sounds of each label, some are getting thier reboot(Eurogrooves) some thier start(Sinclaire Style,GoGo's)Dima and SCP are expirimenting and now HRG as well. DELTA & Saifam are still around
...and Sun Fire label could put out a Eurobeat Track once in a while.
I think you are way off with that thinking. Yes I'm gonna miss ABeatC, but Eurobeat didn't revolve around that empire. The other labels were not living off Dave's scraps. There is a lot of Eurobeat talent out there.
I still think There will be a positive outcome out of this

I agree with you on this one. Pasquini didn't release anything noteworthy since Sandro Oliva left A-Beat C; his label was living on borrowed time for three years while all the other labels made even bigger names for themselves. But yeah, it's kind of immature for somebody to say they won't listen to eurobeat anymore because A-Beat C is gone, especially considering Pasquini's influence and significance over the past few years fell through the floor. I guess that's their choice in the end, but there's still magic to be found in the genre if they look hard enough.
Remember how so many people wanted A-Beat C booted off the series 2-3 years ago? Most of them are now shocked that it actually happened. I don't really understand that contradiction - maybe somebody can enlighten me.

Those people, along with others, fall into a category known as the human race. This is humanity at its best.

I agree that A-Beat-C is a big loss. But, that doesn't mean that because they're gone, good stuff will stop coming. I'm pretty sure that Avex will release those unreleased A-Beat-C songs to keep them coming like "Rock Your Body" by Nuage I've been dying to hear.

Another nail in this genre's coffin.
Care to elaborate? I mean you don't even give specifics. Is AbeatC your fevourite label. and even so, the world of Eurobeat didn't revolve that particular label. The genre, IMOP ,is far away from being put in a coffin, so you are wasting your nails.

I agree with the doc. Sure that the demise of A-Beat-C is a good blow to the Eurobeat world but, the genre itself and the fans will have to go around and surpass that difficulty. Eurobeat can only grow stronger without Dave's lead. Also, Avex still has a shitload of unreleased A-Beat-C songs up their sleeves. I'm pretty sure that we'll have our A-Beat-C fill every albums for a while.

If I understood the message correctly, Sun Fire is intended to continue
A beat C sound in some fashion. Besides, we had Go Go Music that
seemed like an obvious take on A beat C sound concept, for a big while.
It appears that this kind of sound will be well represented on SEBs
even with Dave's departure.
I think that this retiring trend among veteran producers is fueled by
plunging sales and Avex cut backs on the main revenue of Eurobeat teams.
p.s. Did Blast stop producing eurobeat..?
(interestingly enough they release eurobeat under *contini* copyright..).

This is what perhaps did happen:
The departure of Sandro Oliva and later lots of 'voices' plus the situation in 2009 (thanks Italia and now I'm stoppen for a couple of months) was the start of the disablement of ABEATC.
The silince Eurobeat period of 2009 did gave D.R a lot of time to think thinks over. The start of this new label is (perhaps) a new start with new people (Ricardo Majarana / Futura Sunset) with (perhaps) a new sound.
D.R will be perhaps (I hope not) be in the 'back' will Ricardo will create. The same structure can be seen with another label.
And if D.R is departing from Eurobeat. Then I wish him good luck with the other musical things he's gonna do. Thanks for everything (musically and the personal touch during my visits in the past).
And futher I always totally did not understand the kind of negative attiude what sometimes could be read here on this forum towards him. Music and personal things mixed up and everybody has the right to have an upinion, but sometimes I totally missed the arguments.
But I know that D.R has always has than what he liked (was the nr. 1 of Eurobeat because he and his team has decided to become that, even the sacrifice for D.R him selve where extremely high). So now the rocky stuff (always his thing). I do admire that, do what you want to do!
For me he's the best. His voices got me into the Italo / Eurobeat and later made it posible to get the entrance is his personal world in Mantova.
Ciao,
Ronald.

Now, that's a very good point Ronald!
Among the things I'm worried about, one is what will happen to Norma Sheffield? What label do you think she'll go to, or will she retire completely?

She'll probably go to GoGos Music I mean I think she has already cowritten a few tracks for them.

Didn't Norma leave A-Beat C a year ago?

Speaking of GoGo's music. I think it's about TIME they put out an Only male sung aggressive track again.None of this Domino duet stuff. I want a track like Runaway or Red Light & Sex. Preferably an Mega NRG Man track.
I wonder what Norma would sound like singing a really fast Eurobeat song at Eurogrooves or DELTA?

Not at all, but I do from TIIME to TIME forget its on GoGos label.
What I was really getting at was a new Mega NRG Man song, without it being a duet with Domino.
