I don't think robotic voices or heavy auto-tune are all bad. They sound good in songs that suit a robotic and/or more monotone drive, but in eurobeat, I want to hear passionate energy from the singer.

Vocaloids and the related products are rather a cult following amongst anime fans or otakus even in japan. Still the majority of japanese music listeners don't accept the idea of a robot singer or something.
That last bit highlighted in bold suggests that perhaps it won't just be Eurobeat remixes of Hatsune Miku tracks, but rather "remakes" by famous Eurobeat vocalists - could that be true?
