Nice. A tip: try to keep asking things about the subject the person is talking about. Don't hop to another subject right away, but ask two or three more questions that are in line of the reply. I don't know if there's an English word for it, but translated from Dutch it's called 'asking on/through'. Create a conversation instead of a questionaire! :)
Arn't these interviews done as a questionnaire the interviewee fills out rather than a live interview? At least that's the feeling I get. So making it sound conversational would be kinda difficult.MKwiakaku wrote:Nice. A tip: try to keep asking things about the subject the person is talking about. Exactly. I'm taking a full course load this semester in college and working so I don't have the kind of time to do chats with people. The point of the questions was to provide an easier way to get opinions from fans and people in the industry without the struggle of trying to match schedules of doing real time chat. Thats would be especially difficult with the Italians who are ahead of me by like 7 hours. Yes, I could ask questions furthers, but the whole point is for simplicity.Shawaazu wrote:Arn't these interviews done as a questionnaire the interviewee fills out rather than a live interview? I know it is not a format that many people are not wanting, but it is also not something that someone has really tried to do with so many people. I have to factor in not only my schedule, but everyone's schedule that I send questions to. I suppose that is why I still haven't received answers back from Newfield, Capaldi, Gatti, etc. because of their schedules. So chat would be even more difficult to achieve. They said they would get back with me...I'm just waiting!
Hope this clears some things up.
