It's difficult to pick one over the other. I like how you beefed up the bass as it's easily my favourite part of the song next to the vocal melodies which also sound a bit better. The hi-hat (or whatever it is) that sounds more like a beeping noise is much more prominent, for better or worse
You managed to bring out some elements that I didn't notice before! No idea how to explain it, but it sounds bigger, so I'll save it and play both now and then. Many thanks and a hug for your big pony butt

I actually tried this a couple of x unsuccessfully. At first I just amped the whole track, but then found out that it's crucial to just amp the synth parts. The bass on those older 80's and 90's tracks was perfect. If you amp that too high what happens is that all those galloping basslines can become distorted.
Before I jump into the fire with my mp3s; I was wondering if you do the compressing with delecacy so you do not distort those other soundworlds accompanying the synths?
