Would it be too much to ask that one of your headlining artists have the best songs?
Personally I thought Midnight Lover and Revolution were great songs. Revolution is really popular actually. It's on quite a few CDs.

Well, it's not that, so much. There's nothing particularily 'wrong' with the songs, but with this typically bad 150's trend (which, I hope is over) songs just aren't living up to standards set by previous ones.

For instance, 120-130 was dramatically better than 150-160... when you hear powerfully average songs like "Power of Sound" and "Revolution" that get thrust into the spotlight because of Initial D and whatnot, I think that it produces a false sense of what a truly good song is.

For instance, I think that "Dynamite", "Play the Music" and "Fantasista" are all not even in the same league as "Power of Sound". Same goes for Ennio, "Spacelove", "Number One" and say... "Formula 1" don't really match up with "Revolution" if you ask me.

Just my $0.02.

$0.02 isn't a lot at all.... that won't even buy you coffee! <---- random

Revolution never has done much for me; I barely listen to it. Number One's good, it's just not something I play a lot of (I do like it though). Now, Spacelove I adore! I don't know why, I just love that song! Now, I thought Midnight Lover was pretty good, not the best song, but a good song!

I guess this just shows people have different opinions on different songs! ^.^

Ugh Midnight Lover is the most generic song SCP could have ever produced and Go Beat Crazy just sounds sooo underproduced and well the synth they used doesnt sound good at all it actually kills me a be inside.

I'm glad someone noticed the mediocre quality of Midnight Lover. I think I gave it 5/10 in my review of the album. Disgraceful.

I found the intro of Midnight Lover pretty generic, after a while it grew on with the rest of 157.

Midnight Lover ain't that bad, it's actually just basic eurobeat, without any catch, pretty basic stuff, not bad, not amazing. As for Revolution, it's a good song in every aspect, sure this is just my oppinion

hahaha.
W/ that title I think VAN T.K. VS KIKI & FANCY would be more fitting, and prolly more amusing of a listen XD.

Wow, Space Invader sounds YET AGAIN like another rehash of Space Boy.. How many times can Dave Rodgers rehash his songs for goodness sake? It's bad enough that the instrumental breaks of Space Boy and Final Countdown sound practically the same.

It did amuse me that both Space Boy and Final Countdown appeared on SEB 160 Disc 2  Within 11 songs of each other too.. when I heard FC I though for a second they'd put Space Boy on twice by accident

My Lord, Space Invader sounds a lot like Space Boy! Actually, I like the speed and music itself, but I swear, the chorus is symmetrical to that of Space Boy.
