8) I love Fernando's vocals, but you guys are right his artist names have had a very variable vocals list. You can't even say that Fernando solely had Tension, Stop Limit Line ,Mike Hammer nor Sandy Bee. they all had songs in early 80's
Tension- My Dream=not Fernando
Stop Limit Line-Colonol=not Fernando
Sandy bee=Coke & Rum=not sure never heard it?
Mike Hammer=Divine,Hey Man=not Feranndo=Mauro

only vocals TIME soley gave to Fernando from start to finish were for Maio & Co.
1.Black Power
2.Feel The Groove
3.For Your Love
4.Master Blaster
5.Bye Bye Baby
6.Flash In The Sky
7.Dart In My Heart
8.Nite Fever
9.Walking On The Moon= All Fernando
Did I Miss One?

..and while on subject. His vocals are very high in "in The Nite Of Fire" and do not sound good
top 5 songs good mako Vocals
1. I Need Your Mystery= deep & sexy like Mike Hammer or Sandy Bee
2. In The Stars= very TENSION-like
3. Exitable= just like in Heart Breaker
4. Love Breaker= same as above
5. Shell Fire= A little higher, but still enjoyable like Mike Hammer in "Big Mouth"

wosrt Mako Vocals(Too High)
1. In The Nite Of Fire(almost sounds like a chick)
2. Rebell Heart(great song,High Vocals)
3. Mission To Tokyo= was it even him?

Divine by Mike Hammer is done by Mauro Farina.
Hey Man by Mike Hammer is done by Giancarlo Pasquini.

Yes in some songs I think A Beat C tries to give Elena some Annerley-ish sounds, you know, like the screaming... and, well, only Annerley can do that and make it sound not painful. But some people hate that too! I actually like the Jealousy song personally :-)

I think Giancarlo did not do the vocals on 'Right time'. The vocals on this Chester do remind of an ABEAT track called 'Get back' from Raymond Barry. The picture on the back of the sleeve is a picture of Luigi Raimundi.
But if he's the one with the vocals :?. I only know that he's responsable for saxfone and keyboard work. And he's the main creator of the Norma Sheffield sound. :D

Adios,

Ronald.

SEB 103 ;) The radio edit is slightly less glass shattering than the PPP Megamix version (the PPP edit has her singing "Jealousy" stretched x2 :S)

Tension- My Dream= FARINA

Sandy bee=Coke & Rum= GINO CARIA

Coke & Rum is very rare. It was not a great succes; with lots of imagination, it sounds a bit like a latin-italo-version 'one for you...' by La Bionda (it's an original track). But his voice was cool already! For a more steady energetic song, I would recommend Mr. Me - I Go Down though.

Hrhm my initial reactions to jealosu were hate, but by time I've grown to love it and especially the JJJEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLOOOOOOOOOOOUSSSSSSYYYYYYYYYY part is what I love about the song. Elena is still a brilliant vocalist and honestly don't think any of the female vocalists come even close to her high pitched style (which is an art of its own).

Yes, thank you Bore, that's is my point - Elena may not have the prettiest voice or the best technical style, but she is sooo distinctive - any time you hear her vocals you know exactly who it is, and that's something that is rather difficult to come by. I had heard Jealousy before on the PPP soundtrack, but I actually really liked it! That was the first Eurobeat-oriented album I got though, so I may just have been blinded by the awesomeness of it all! :P

I left the Eurobeat World about 5 years ago. I quit buying the SEB cd's after 111. The music was fast, and the vocals were pitched up and distorted at that point. There was a song by Valentina right around that time that almost turned me off of Eurobeat for good. She has one of the most outstanding voices, yet they pitched it up until it was horrible.

I have just recently returned to the Super Eurobeat world. By accident. I bought the most recent Initial D's off of Ebay.........they turned out to be Miya, but regardless. I was expecting to find the horrible pitched up vocals again. But what i found was excellent music, still fast, and the vocals are more natural speed now. It's just the music and beat that are fast. I went back and ordered about 20 some SEB's. I find that around SEB 121, the vocals are a little more normalized and the songs became pleasant again.

Hi NRG Attack is almost 100% garbage IMO, for that very reason. Now matter what the speed of the music, the vocals should NEVER be pitched up in the original recording.

It's nice that a few slower songs like Nuage are being produced now.

8) That is some harsh statemant about HRG Attack. I understand how some fans do not get Federico and co., but HRG gives a lot of diversity too Eurobeat. I'm personally happy they are on SEB :D . ...And for slower trax listen to
1. Caio Caio-Running Over The Night
2. Maddy Layne- Joy & Sorrow
3. Harry Ken- No, I Don't Wanna Wait 4 U
3. Cio Caio- Seventeen
All Rick Castle trax
