ha Ha..You might think you're in the minority, but you are still among the best!

Everlasting Dance Trax

From that list of songs you mentioned I do like most of them. Especially Mr. Black - Macho Man is great plus Tomas Marin is good always. But Heart Breaker was never a favorite amongst the others.drnrg wrote:Bore:GUYS and GIRLS, you really have to LOVE the Original "Heartbreaker" and be a drop dead Dead Or Alive fan to really appriciate Mr. Dall Ora's interpretation of the Newfield track. When "Heartbreaker" is one of your all-TIME favorite Eurobeat trax, you will only praise entries like this. Christian De Leo was the the best to take on the vocals and gives the song that aggressive edge it needs. I just wish he would have sang the D-D-D- Donts like Nando did. I'm also hoping they didn't omit the rap at the intro?Jesus at Heart breaker... was expecting bad stuff and got even worse. Seriously just let the remakes be forgotten all together. Would rather get a new Time song instead of a remake EVERY album.
Getting wilder in the street
I can feel your body heat
I ain't wasting no more time![]()
Maybe you would prefer Elena Gobbi on vocals![]()
I'm pretty sure you're not a bigfan of these other songs iether?
King Kobra- Sledghammer
King Kobra- I Want Your Sex
NRG Boys- Heart & Body
Mega NRG Man- I Can Be Your Dee Jay
Mike Skanner- Electronic Lover
Mr Black- Macho Man
Joe Foster- Fly High
and others of the like.
I think it's one of the best if not the best remake yet. ..and yeah we all perfer new songs, but treats like these are delicious
HEARTBREAKER FOREVER
I certainly would. Some are nice, but I don't care much for those remakes/remixes. Well, unless it's like "hey, that old Time song was really bad! Lets remake/remix this to make it good this time", but that hasn't been the case, unfortunately.Bore wrote:Plus wouldn't you rather get new songs instead of remakes all the time?
I am very fond of the remakes, especially from this decade. I would have to say the main reason I like them so much is because they open my eyes to songs that I always heard before on whatever compilation album but never actually payed attention to. Not to mention I really enjoy how Time (for the most part) has updated them and given them a new feeling.Bore wrote:Plus wouldn't you rather get new songs instead of remakes all the time?

Mad Cow is a great song, but it's allready fast enough and probly wouldn't change too much. I would rather see what Claudio & Federico can do with Cindy's "Push Me Boom Boom" or Joe D. Toaster- "Beautiful"I do think that each SEB should have a different label producing the remake. I'd love to hear Burning Love, Sushi Hushy Girl, Mad Cow, *a whole bunch of others* redone.
Geez, all those commas gave me a headache, but I agree.KitsuneStar wrote:I don't think there's much point of doing a remake if it's going to sound almost exactly like the original, but with Heartbreaker, there was definitely a certain attitude and signature feel to the song which doesn't seem like it's there in the remake, from the preview, but at the same time, I feel like on its own merits, it still could turn out an interesting listen. I know that puts me in the minority, but...
Seriously? I'm quite enthusiastic about 179, actually... xD; I already ordered it, too. hahaDanWaigand wrote:Based on the samples... And It might just be the quality though I doubt it... Well I don't necessarily agree that something may be too new considering tracks like Don't Stop The Music and Melodies of Love got re-made and they're not all that old. That being said I wouldn't mind seeing some more recent re-makes but they really shouldn't push it (maybe a ten year limit?) which is why I was surprised when they re-did DOn't Stop The Music.drnrg wrote:Densetsu13Mad Cow is a great song, but it's allready fast enough and probly wouldn't change too much. Basically labels like HRg ,DELTA and SCP especially are too new to rivamp thier old hits, but AbeatC could try it with a few of thiers. Might even compete with that new Go Go label wich still has to impress me.
You are way off here buddy. The remakes pay homage to some of thier biggest hits. Ex: Ding A Ling, Doctor Doctor, Heartbreaker. Mr sergio Dall 'Ora is trying to bring some of those 90's hits to the ears of some of todays younger Eurobeat audiences, who might have missed out on them the first TIME around.Probably the only reason Time does most of the remakes is because they've been around longer, ie. their creativity is running dry.
You might be one of the few. I guess average SCP fans will not be to eager to purchase(no Ace or Fastway this TIME around), but DELTA, HRG and TIME fans probly can't wait to get thier hands on it. Oh yea and ABeatC/Go Go's(can't tell difference) did real well too.Based on the samples... And It might just be the quality though I doubt it... Thank you for pointing out exactly why this album blows goats in my mind. However, I'll be honest.. . I havent been that impressed with any ofthe things those labels have been doing lately either save for the last SEB.drnrg wrote: SCP fans will not be to eager... Oh yea and ABeatC/Go Go's...
Well said, and Melodies of Love should never ever be remade into anything other than scraps. Even with a 10 year limit we could basically get most of the labels to certain extent. Though quite frankly I dunno if I would like to hear remakes of HI-NRG Attack songs at all.Densetsu13 wrote: Well I don't necessarily agree that something may be too new considering tracks like Don't Stop The Music and Melodies of Love got re-made and they're not all that old. Personally, what I'd like to see HRG do is try their hands at being a little bit more serious with their songs once in a while (not all the time), and maybe 3 or 4 songs per every 10-album series, tone down the goofball factor a little bit. They didn't seem like they were quite this gimmicky 100% of the time back in the Euromach-era...Bore wrote:Though quite frankly I dunno if I would like to hear remakes of HI-NRG Attack songs at all.
