It's all right, I just don't want to imagine what the original version sounds like.

I think that IS the original version. The "Mark Farina Remix" Subtitle is an error on Avex's end.

(Though, now I'm interested-- what WOULD Farina do with a Sinclaire song? Reminds me of my "Label Switchup" thread. :3 )

Yeah, we established that the "Mark Farina Remix" should have been on track 7 - Heartbreak by Danny Rock. Farina would have added more beef to the beats of Flame and Fire for sure if it was his remix.

And I don't hate the song either - it just doesn't come anywhere near the highlights for me (which appear to be many other people's "lowlights" :P )

I think it's the best song of the album (Jimmy Diamond is second best).

Tora is seb 189's best selling song on Japanese I Tunes :P

I actually don't understand why some people say SEB 189 is the worst album in times. I don't like this album more or less than others.

Eurothunder's MOST favorite songs:
1-Rick Castle
2-Dream Fighters
3-Tora |after some listening|
4-Danny Rock
5-Annalise |to my own surprise|
6-Phil & Linda

Rather than review every song on the album (since I know most people only care about Bore's complete review for some reason), I'll give it a quick summary.

Initially, I thought this release was a nightmare. This album presented a unique problem: most of the productions were REALLY difficult to 'get into' and appreciate. After a couple of very thorough listens to every track, some of the productions were able to peak my interests, but at the end of the day it's just an average SEB release with no real exciting twists or blowouts.

The tracks I enjoyed (the top three being the ones I thought were great from the start):

01. Jimmy Diamond - My Lonely Night | Flawless Delta production.
02. Rick Castle - Bad Boy | HRG always seems to end the decades with class, which is what this song is all about. Bouncy and enjoyable to listen to.
03. Nuage - Baby Take Me High | Sounds like the sequel to "My Blue Sky", which I really enjoyed. And it seems I'm the only who likes this, heh.
04. Tora - Flame And Fire | The vocals are a bit too 'squeaky' for me, but pretty good all around.
05. Dream Fighters - Stormbringer | Typical Dima, but in a positive light.
06. Phil & Linda - You Give Me More | The riff still irritates me and it's difficult to appreciate, but mostly a decent TIME production if you give it a chance.
07. Mad Cow and the Tverskaya Str. Girls - Balalaika Vodka & Rock'n Roll | Sounds like a hundred other HRG productions, but after some listens I feel this epitomises what HRG is all about. Afterall, I'd prefer them taking the safer route than producing something along the lines of "Spin Spin Baby" or "Run And Run" again.

The rest were mediocre at best. I was a little disappointed in SCP's performance in particular.

**cough**
Will154 wrote:Also compared to Hey Hey - Nuage , i thing that Baby Take Me High has a better intro and vocals. I really like Nuage this time ! Though i am still waiting for Rock Your Body - Nuage , which has to be her best song ever O_O !! (But unreleased).
