Hey, that's a fair opinion, so far it's a fairly popular one.
Perhaps the full-version in context will prove more successful...?

Boring? I don't think so.

Top 10:
1. Dave & Futura - Super Eurobeat (Gold Mix)
2. Queen 26 - You Are My Wonder
3. Mr. Moog - Say Goodbye
4. Claudia Vip - In Your Car (returning to the Eurobeat Flash style here, no pitching, is this Melody?)
5. Yo Shine - Power of My Love
6. Ken Blast - When The Sun Goes Down
7. K. De Leo - Wonderlover
8. Manuel - Nightrain
9. Girl Next Door - Climber's High (Dima Remix)
10. Fastway - Rockin' Beat Wild

Honorable Mention:
Tipsy & Tipsy - Neverending Love (Factory Team Remix)
Mirka - 10000 Lovers

Dishonorable Mention:
Dave Rodgers - Wild Reputation Rock Mix (not Eurobeat, doesn't belong)
Nathalie - Live It Up (what's happened, Sinclaire?)

I don't think it sounds amateur from what I can hear, but I will say that it would have been nice if the vocals had been louder. It seems like everything else going on is drowning him out. =S

Then again it might just be the quality of the sample... A week until we find out for sure!

ha ha ha Mirka / 10,000 Lovers sounds so dated, i love it!

I'd say those samples were better than I was led into thinking, but so far this album still sounds rather okay in my opinion.

Favorite tracks so far would probably be Power Of My Love, Say Goodbye, and In your Car. Nothing sounds remarkably horrible, but there are a lot of disappointing and uninteresting performances. One thing I do notice is that SCP seems to have made the first major update to their production style in quite a few years, which is nice, because I thought they were starting to sound a bit outdated compared to other labels.

I unfortunately have to agree that When The Sun Goes Down is not cracked up to what I was hoping for, although the synth sounds good from what I hear. The vocal melody just plays it way too safe and doesn't showcase the tremendous energy that I know Travis has. I want another song like Burn My Heart, or even something that's at least melodically creative like Cherry Blossoms.

I am torn with When The Sun Goes Down because the vocals and the vocal melody are good but the backing production are on the crappy side... The rest of the samples are kind of meh too. And Power Of My Love just sounds like another typical SCP irene track. Say Goodbye has the most promise to me

I'm quite pleased with the samples. Overall i'm looking forward to the album, not a single annoying track. Maybe 200+ will be a nice decade for SEB 150-199 was utterly boring and plain, of course there were few solid diamonds.

man, I love mini review TIME. Havn't done one for SEB in quite someTIME.

The speed of the songs is kinda 93, 95 and I like that very much. Songs like Bright TIME and Stargate have already kinda gone in that direction. This SEB sounds like it could really be one of my favs.

1. Dave & Futura - Super Eurobeat (Gold Mix Version) [A-Beat C]
Nothing mind blowing. Good Solid beat from Dave's rehash archives, but I like it.
8/10

2. Yo Shine - Power Of My Love (Eurobeat Version) [SCP Music]
Aside from the crap artist name, this clip really isn't all that bad. Nice BPMs and melody as well.
8+/10

3. Fastway - Rock Beatin'Wild (Eurobeat Version) [SCP Music]
here is the first example of a song that I think was slowed down from its original bpms. Sounds like all of Fastway's songs, but I don't really have a problem with that.
7+/10

4. Mirka - 10,000 Lovers (Extended Version) [A-Beat C]
I'm with the group who likes this song. Old skool AbeatC.nuff said.
8+/10

5. Manuel - Nightrain (Extended Version) [GoGo's Music]
The reason this clip sounds so odd os because it's not at its original speed. Ever taken a fast HRG Attack song and slowed it down on your player? Same effect. This could actually be an amazing song , but the slowed down bps. really distorts the guitars. You don'T believe me? Speed it up a few notches. Awesome song.
7/10

6. Tipsy & Tipsy - Never Ending Love (The Factory Team Eurobeat Remix) [Saifam]
I completely agree that this a great version of this song. Much better than the original and the vinyl pressing saounded horrendouz.
8+/10

7. Queen 26 - You Are My Wonder (Extended Version) [Delta Music Industry]
Lovong this track from all angles. GRLTA hits the mark again.
9-/10

8. Mr. Moog - Say Goodbye (Extended Version) [Dima Music]
Claudio kinda sounds like Dee Dee. I don't think I have heard his vocals that pitched, which is funny cuz the song is Aishu. I remeber his tone on Flea sounded quite different, but its definately him. Anyway, great song, prbobly turns out to be one of my favs. Dima is remarkable.
10/10

9. Claudia Vip - In Your Car (Extended Version) [Hi-NRG Attack]
WOW! just WOW! Kinda old skool HRG Attack. No pitched vocals. Sounds very 1995.
10/10

10. K. De Leo - Wonderlover (Extended Version) [EuroGrooves]
Three mega bombas in a row. This one is without a doubt my favouirte track from this cd. Dall Ora does it again. This clip is so wonderful. It sounds like Silver -One Nite, which is funny cuz that one was sung by Claudio.
10/10

11. Nathalie - Live It Up! (Extended Version) [SinclaireStyle]
This clip isn't really working for me. Gotta hear the rest of the song. The riff sounds promising.
7+/10

12. Ken Blast - When The Sun Goes Down (Extended Version) [Delta Music Industry]
I think this clip fits perfectly the feel of the cd. I don't reqally hear anything wrong with his vocals. It has the Phil & Stan style. The vocal tone fits the melody perfectly. Kinda like Tonight Tonight- Kevin Johnson. It's nice to hear Travis's vocals progress and I always thought his smooth vocals fit aishu perfectly. Someone out there obviously thought so too. My one beef is the artist name. Ken Blast sounds more agreesive, but it's all good, cuz you are out there doing what most of us Eurobeat lovers wanna do.
10/10

13. Girl Next Door - Climber's High (Dima Music Studio 1 Remix) [Dima Music]
I just can't get into J-Euro. Sorry.
0/10

14. Dave Rodgers - Wild Reputation (Rock Mix) [A-Beat C]
I think I'll go listen to my Wild Reputation Vinyl. This version does not belong on this cd. Epic fail!
0/10

I think these clips live up to me expectations of what it would sound like. It has that mid 90s feel. The middle of the cd sounds amazing.

Minireview of tracks 1-11 and 13-14:

1) SUPER EUROBEAT by Dave & Futura
Something about it sounds musically unusual (also lacks some reverb). Also, the synth riff isn't my favorite kind (words mixed with synths); despite these I like it a lot.
8-/10

2) POWER OF MY LOVE by Yo Shine
Odd title, but I really like this track a lot. It's solid, as most SCP tracks are for me.
8/10

3) GO BEATIN' WILD by Fastway
Disappointing, I have to say. Something about the chorus seems to lack energy, and I can't hear the synth riff. I'm pretty sure he'll throw something catchy at us in the riff, but perhaps this wasn't a good chunk to take from the song for the sample.
7/10

4) 10,000 LOVERS by Mirka
Something about it just juts out in an awkward way compared to the rest of the tracks. It's a good track, but it's almost completely untouched from its 1993 version; perhaps a small sprucing-up would've been appropriate for the 17-year anniversary?
7+/10

5) NIGHT TRAIN by Manuel
It's a bit too slow for its own good. LOVE the chord progressions, and, might I say I hear a VERY slight difference in the sort of sound used in the synth riff, which is a GIANT leap of difference for GGM. Bravo, even if I do have to speed the track up once I get it!
8+/10

6) NEVERENDING LOVE by Tipsy & Tipsy
It's charming! The chord progressions are nice, and while the chorus is a little sleepy, instead of boring me it adds to the sort of "into infinity" sort of feel I get from it. If this really is an older track, I have to say it still translates well into a modern release.
9-/10

7) YOU ARE MY WONDER by Queen 26
It seems like both Queen 26 and the synth riff are holding back a bit much for this track, or at least what I could hear. Once I hear the final version I'll be better able to judge, but it's... subpar for Queen 26, yet still a good track.
7+/10

8) SAY GOODBYE by Mr. Moog
LOL, SYNTHESIZER REFERENCE~ Anyway, it's actually NOT Magnani, if I may throw some drama into the mix. Sounds like promising Dima fare and I can't wait to hear the riff!
8/10

9) IN YOUR CAR by Claudia Vip
HRG had no trouble returning to an older sound for the chorus, but the synth riff is, once again, lacking a particular hook. I swear I'm not hating on HRG, they're still a great label, but... they've got pre-201 GGM syndrome: the same synth riff sound, and their choice is particularly weak here. Chorus is good though. I'll have to hear the whole thing to give it higher than...
6+/10

10) WONDERLOVER by K. De Leo
Ah, that old Time sound is back in a great way, and the new Eurogrooves synth sound sort of matches though. What I could hear from the riff didn't excite me much but it still hits as a solid-ish clip.
8/10

11) LIVE IT UP! by Nathalie
Glad to hear her back! (Though I'm still waiting for more cute Roberta Grana~) Unfortunately, Sinclaire once again has the Reverb knob on his master mix set to "11". Chorus was meh-worthy, but the synth riff sounded good. Sinclaire's really been getting better about his synth riff sound choices.
7+/10

13) CLIMBER'S HIGH by Girl Next Door (Remixed by Dima)
J-Euro is a time for my musician's ear to take over my "listen for words" ear, and I can hear that Dima already does this track a great deal of justice. I don't know what on earth she's saying and I can already barely wait to hear more.
9-/10

14) WILD REPUTATION (Rock Mix) by Dave Rodgers
Dave really should've rerecorded his vocals for this one; something sounds oddly juxtaposed about the classic vox, basic rock instruments and overly shiny Orch Stabs. I want to like this track, and were it not for a few tweaks I really would. I wanna hear it in full so I can really get a good earful.
7-/10

I'd say this SEB looks like a good shapeup from the 19X decade. If the "return to basics" was 7A's idea after all, she really did have a good one. :)

hmmm.. the mystery continues. Like I said something about his tone when I compare it to his Aishu style just doesn't click. Listen to Atrium- Feel It or Starman. His tone just isn't that high. :???: Still think he sounds incredibly like Dima in Hey Hey Baby Cry.

Darksky should know for sure right?

Say whaa~? :o
In that case, it could as well be the guy who sang Chemical Love (John Desire), Wings Of Fire (Jackie 'O) and Love Me Queen - he tends to sound quite a bit like Magnani at times.

I am quoting this post for its mere mention of "Starman", one of the most underrated eurobeat songs in history.
'Nuff said.

OT:
The only track I gave a listen to was Wild Reputation, which is an LOLMASSIVE disappointment. :|

Now that's a super intelligent guess from Mr. Cheeseman; the vocal decipherer himself. listening to Wings Of Fire at this very moment.

Starman is actually the song that made me realize that Mr. Moog is in no way Claudio Magnani
