I actually thought you already had a promo copy of the cd cuz of the few 10s you dished out so easily. You used a lot of generalization for a preview. I actually wouldn't be so surprised it you have heard the cd allreadyand these are your actual grades, which kinda depress me for being so low on the grading scale, but its all good. I'll just wait a few more days untill I get mine.

By the way, Just wondering if the Cindy and Joe Banana song are the newest from HRG or are they actually older than "In Your Car" and "Maximum Speed", which are the latest on their website ? I'm having quite a hard time browsing the catalogue on LMS's website and I'm getting fuzzy after finding it.

the last songs by Joe and Cindy were HRG 804 Joe Banana- Dogzilla supermegafragilisticfantahero and HRG 813 Cindy- Amerigal, so "Squeeze me" and "Cataclysm Night" are in fact the newest additions to the catalog. :)

I hope I get my newest Eurobeat Flash...I mean SEB by next week.

I take it that "Cataclysm Night" and "Squeeze Me" are newer than "In Your Car" and "Maximum Speed" then ?

I browsed the entire catalogue (I feel your pain in terms of the fuzzy eyes!!) and I couldn't find the songs mentioned anywhere. So unless they have missed out some numbers, I'm figuring that they are new tracks in the HRG800's.

As promised on the blog both the extendeds and instrumentals for 204 are available for purchase with the exception of Torax3 2k10 just extended for that one. They are already available on Musico this very second.

Also available on iTunes Japan. I'm far from happy though, as it used to cost 1,800Yen to buy the album when it was the 14 tracks, but now they include 13 instrumental versions (which I really don't care about to be honest) I have to buy all tracks individually, meaning it's 14x 150Yen = 2,100Yen. I know it's only an extra 300Yen, but still I feel a bit cheated... :???:

EDIT: Well, I bought the tracks that most appealed from the samples - I Won't Fall Apart, Face The Race, Good Love & Mystery, All Is Magic, Bang Bang and Promised Discoland.

So far, it's only really I Won't Fall Apart and Good Love & Mystery that are getting strong replays. The Lolita track is awesome actually - more key changes than I can count! All Is Magic is good but it will take a little while to get used to this new slower style for Manuel.

Haven't bothered with the others so far as the HRG and Saifam tracks sound awful and the Stella and MOV tracks made no impression on me either. I may buy them after reading other people's thoughts, but for now I'm saving my iTunes credits...

Holy shit at I Won't Fall Apart. SCP really outdid themselves. This has topped every track so far this decade. Riff and verse really blew me out of the water. Chorus is still the best. Its the only track I was interested it and bought so far so I'll check the others later once people chime in.

I am quite puzzled by some of the newer SCP tracks so far as they seem to have this "Eurobeat Version" tag attached to them, Does songs like "I Won't Fall Apart" and "CooloveR" have any other versions to them ? I can't seem to find them if they ever do exist.

Maybe it's just me but does anyone think "Heat Me Up" is another "IKTES" in terms of vocal clarity ? I for sure think that's the case.

Yeah SCP tends to make more than one version of a track. The eurobeat version gets on SCP. And the remixes just wait patiently... I pray 205 has the pop version of Ace - Take My Breath Away.

I still can't find this album on musico. I guess it got briefly taken down after you said it was available, Javy.

Oh well, at least I'm currently enjoying The Crazy World of Franz Tornado, which I finally picked up after being distracted by all the music I bought off of musico beforehand. I gotta say that that album, along with the surprisingly excellent Cream Eurobeat, really prove that Hi-NRG Attack is still, in fact, capable of producing some great tracks; Avex has just done a really lousy job of choosing their best ones for Super Eurobeat as of late.

Apparently theres 4 different versions of I Won't Fall Apart that will soon be available on iTunes Worldwide from what I hear. And I haven't been as excited over a Eurobeat song as I am with I Won't Fall Apart. Stella and Melissa White also had a very good outing on this CD. Everything else seems to be very off though. Overall a very mediocre album that is held up by Jager, Stella, and Melissa White.

For once, I fully agree with you. This album is strange...

The only clear standouts on the album are the SCP songs (and I'm not that big of an SCP fan, mind you). The Manuel song is pretty good too but I find myself always coming back to the three "new" SCP songs. Just about everything else falters in one way or another. Maybe the rest will grow on me but I can't see that happening. Something was definitely amiss on this release, which probably had something to do with Eurogrooves and SinclaireStyle's absence.

To be honest, even if I'm not a massive SinclaireStyle fan, I'm not going to support the series if they decide they're going to leave these labels out intermittently. Thankfully for Avex, I preordered this before the tracklist was released (won't do that again!), but I'm probably not going to buy 205 or anymore future releases if this is what's going to happen. Two disastrous albums in a row is enough to put my purchases on hold for a while.
