Anyone care to upload Say Yeah somewhere? Have to wait for a LONG time to get my copy of 169 (even 167 still hasn't arrived   ) and I'm so curious about the song!

Yellowfin = Freddy Rodgers and Nuage, no?

Nrgexpress said on anotehr forum it was a nuage alias
But I can understand your question since they do sound alike (just listen to Dont Make Me Cry.. I swore itw as freddy during the sabi)

And Super Kaiser is the best thing to happen to Hi NRG Attack 8)

I'm pretty sure I can hear Freddy in the background. I know what Nuage sounds like, but Freddy is definately there.

I think it is predominantly Freddy in this track with Nauge backing him up slightly (along with her Ahahaah). Oddly I don't find him completely unbearable like as in 154...definitely caught me off gaurd as Nauge after listening to it first.

Any reason to not include Freddy on the artist credits for "Don't Make Me Cry" if it really is him? I think it must be Freddy cuz Nuage's vocals don't sound like that unless they morphed it something odd.

You don't see Lolita credited as an artist on Shock Me - Manuel do you

Magic Rainbow

Post by beat freak » 22 Jun 2006, 03:55

169 is another awful Eurobeat compilation.

Best to worst:

1) Rose - Magic Rainbow
I have to say the standout track is Rose's "Magic Rainbow". Sounds like they were drunk or high while making this track. It's fun but really unusual.

2) Sophie - Drive In The Night
Wow, the return of old TRD. Time must have hired a new producer. It's like a missing song from the 1200 - 1250 label hey-day. Sorta sounds like an old Den Harrow italo-beat style.

3) Gipsy - Oh Honey Oh
Fresh Italo piano styled eurobeat. Great surprise from SAIFAM

4) Van TK & Christine - Now Celebrate
Also good , however, their vocals were really pitched up, so I wonder if this was remixed from a slower song.

5) Annerly Gordon - I Say Yeah
Terribly repetitive. The chorus is kinda catchy but it was an uninspiring come back. Maybe this will grow on me. Great to have Ann back.

6) SCP All Star - Big Heart
Funny about the mis-spelling, apparently there is only one "Star" from SCP.

7) Neo - Disco Fire
Eurobeaters will love this one but kinda standard stuff.

8) Norma Sheffield - Love Can Be Your Game
9) Lolita - Hot For Your Love
Lolita & Norma Sheffield both sounded off key. They were mismatched for these songs. Norma's production was great, very Christmasy sounding.

10) Yellowfin - Welcome To The Beach
The vocals are disasterous and are completely covered up by the production. Great name of a group though and the production is pretty good. I can feel the beach breeze blowing with this song.

11) Cherry - Eurobeat Kind Of Love
Kinda cute.

12) Lou Grant - Maharaja Night 2006
First 2006 remix bomb. He has so many other good songs, wanna hear "What Kind Of Cure 2006" or "Sex Heroes 2006"

13) Cy-ro - Get Inside My Dark Heart
Er, or something like that. Well they tried a little tiny bit of something new, I can see getting a speeding ticket with this song.

14) Bombers - Mr. Frankenstein
Ho Ho No No. The intro is pretty cool, a bit different and gothic, but then it has that russian flavor that is being over used.

15) Ale - If You Ever Leave me
Another throwaway Delta track.

16) Alvin - Dream Of You
You should already have this one.

17) Garcon - Super Kaiser
You should have this one too, HRG at it's best, doing it's worst.

18) Kiki & Fancy - Roly Poly Rock
Only for the kids. Stupid stupid song.

8) I have not ordered mine yet, but I thought Yellow Fin# was AbeatC? They hog up all SEBs.

You get a huge thumbs up for picking TIME as the best songs. :D

Having read your post, I visited @music, of which the top page is saying
they're gonna quit music download service for new tracks on June 30th
and the settlement is to be terminated on July 28th. O_O

Awww, guess it wasn't doing enough business :\ not like they updated the Dance Music section much anyway. I was also hoping to get some songs off here from 169 too =\
