I've been a serious Gino Caria high this week. For me he will alwyas be the King of Italo/Eurobeat vocals, Untouchable in every sense of the word. I actually listened to my older vinyls way more than the new Eurobeat this week. Songs that Gino Caria did vocals for are highlighted in Blue. A lot of movement in this week's chart and a few vinyls. Some new ones and some classic ones, but take nots; Mega NRG Man vinyl is already out and selling out!

Some very delicious tracks being played heavily on my computer right now. Not in any particular order...

1. Pilot Is The Hero/ Niko (this has to be one of my favorite eurobeat songs ever on one of the best albums ever. The kick ass guitar solo in the extended mix is to die for!)

2. Call My Name/ Tora (Call me Tora, bitch!)

3. Little Little Star/ Jay Lehr (Autotuned Heaven)

4. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride/ AAA (best J-Euro track of 2010, IMO)

5. Kiss My Boo Boo/ Mom & Dad (the best track of 2010, IMO...has like 70 plays on Windows Media)

HRG are definately trying out new sounds on thier synth riffs. Feel The Power Inside, On The Top Again, Pretty Woman just to name a few. I hear what you mean with the high pitch "echo-ish" synths, but the melody is still unmistakenably HRG Attack style. You can still hear the pianos in the backround.

It's not so hard to believe Live Music Team is creating such bombas these days. Not only do they have the old school talent of Claudio Accantino, but they also produced some of the best records for TIME label in the mid 90s.

Well, for me, I haven't enjoyed HRG this much since the EBF/Euromach days. Whatever they've changed in the past few months, I just hope they keep this up. Since 205, every song of theirs has been a bullseye or at the very least plain 'nice.' Songs like 'Run and Run', 'Running to My Car', 'In Your Car', etc. just can't compare to their recent hits.

Anyway, here's my next countdown. The HRG orgy continues with a new HRG #1. I certainly wouldn't have thought a year ago that HRG (of all labels) could possibly reinvigorate my interest in eurobeat, but I think they've done it. :)

You have probobly noticed that these last couple of weeks, my list has contained more of the older school Eurobeat. This week; since I really listened to much more of that old school, I've decoded to break up my list into two. One for the current sound and one for the retro sound and the spotligh this week would go to The Flea and early ABeatC sound of the 90s. The reason for this is that I just don't think it makes much sense for my list to include new songs by Orlando and Manuel, when I really havn't even listened to them once this week.

Most of those songs are from Sinclaire's Hyper Techno side...and wonderful ones at that---especially Super Storm and Survivor!

Seems like the current songs in the top 10 will be enjoying thier stay a bit longer untill we get new Eurobeat. Now would be a perfect TIME for Dima to release some of his unreleased material or for TIME to release some unheard gems. I'll even take a new HRG Attack Complilation to tie me thru the X- Mas break. Sometime ago I stumbled accidentally upon a Swedish danceparty themed Youtube channel and found myself loving a whole lot of the tracks over there. So bubbly and upbeat western music, feels like I was back in the 90s <3 So these tracks are heavily currently invading my top10.
