Yup, 'Snow Fairy' is from Sinclairestyle Hypertechno Special Collection Vol. 3. Sometimes you'll find the odd hyper techno track sneaking into my charts; I find they're a great recluse from the general monotony of eurobeat.

A bit of shuffling around in the top 10 and a couple of debuts, but all in all not too much drastic movement in my chart this week. This will probably be a recurring theme until the next SEB album is released, which will be when things really start to shake up again (more new iTunes/Juno material will do the same - hint hint!). HRG are occupying 9 out of the 20 spots this week!

Doc, it is a garden variety Sinclaire hypertechno tune, but it has got a killer chorus, sung by Grana. I wish his eurobeat had choruses like that.

Heh. It's funny how I said that 208 was easily the worst album of the decade two months back, but now I've taken a liking to just about every song from that album (6 of my top 10 songs this week are from that album). I'm not sure why these songs took so long for me to warm up to, but better late than never, hey?

Actually, now that 'Crazy' by David Dima has charted this week, that means the only song left from 208 that is yet to chart is 'Eyes of Sky' by Vivi. I'm very confident that it won't ever chart though considering it's the most annoying SCP song to have been released since 'Go Bananas' by Kiki & Fancy on 177.

@ Jay.

I don't know why, but after reading Bore's review of The Champion and seeing it appear on your list; I've been playing the song heavy on repeat all day. SomeTIMES someone else's high remarks of a song can have an effect on me. I initailly likes the song, but not as much as Turbo Disco, but today I heard some of what Bore heard and it sounded all that much better.

I've noticed the same effect going on here and there. Occasionally someone brings up a title I've sort of managed to pass by initially and suddenly on a re-listen it sounds a whole lot better. Also old favorites being brought up after a long period of time on various charts easily reminds me of tracks I've forgotten all together.

Yeah, your reviews are pretty much why I've started listening to 'The Champion' and 'Si La Do' again. It's interesting how another person's opinion of a song can change your own, for better and sometimes for worse too.
