Wow, these actually sound quite good for recent Saifam works. I will probably buy both of these.

Same! I was pleasantly surprised by their last update in December, and I'm even more excited for these releases. If they keep this strong level up, my long-lost interest for the label could quickly become revived!

Ivanhoe sounds really different for a Saifam track, but at the same TIME really fits the Alphatown name. If AVEX would pick it for one of thier volumes it could really take top honours as the best song on a cd. Really loving that progressive synth throughout the song. Reminds me so much of Heart To Heart. Another Alphatown classic.

Superphenomena is quite good also. I guess his vocals sound a tad forced and not as relaxed as in Diabolik. They might even need some TIME to get used to, but the Super Diabolika line is pure genious.

...I really hope SAIFAM will post up the downloads for the songs either on SAIFAM.com and/or Juno Download this weekend or next week.

*listening to the preview of "SUPERPHENOMENA" again, for the twentieth time*

Edit: They're on SAIFAM.com for download now!

I don't know how they met with Mr. Farina, but I'm glad to hear their product at Saifam.

Agreed!

The older songs being put up right now aren't the best in the Asia catalogue imo; though unlike most labels, I think they were in a bit of a dry period around 1997 and 1998. The upbeat fun that was fully resurrected by 1999 wasn't present, and instead the label was producing mainly a bunch of bland, melancholic female tracks and almost nothing from Mauro. There are still some songs that I loved, but overall the level wasn't up to par with their works from 1999 to 2006, similar to how they were in 2008, although for different reasons.

My friends and I all think "SUPERPHENOMENA" needs a musical of its own. XD Just the way the lyrics are (from what I can understand) and the way it's sung, it just has an overall musical feel to it.

Superphenomena sounds like the new Iron Man. And I mean it in the BEST possible way. It's pretty darn epic.

Avex could score some brownie points back with me by putting this tune on an upcoming SEB.
