Rene Froger - Are You Ready For Loving (12" PWL part remix)
Released: 1990

Exact same musical progression, especially in the chorus and same instrumentals, probably sampled or reworked??
Holy crap. You weren't kidding about the feels and sounds of these two songs. Glad people like you can find these connections!

Pierre & Franz - Life In Tokyo (Vocal Version)
Released: 1989
High Energy Records
Italy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L09HfOekFbs
Similar opening chord progression heard from 0:01 until 0:29 into the song.

vs.

Kylie Minogue - What Do I Have To Do
Released: 1991
PWL Records
UK
https://youtu.be/q53e-IWTSTc?t=12
Similar opening chord progression heard from 0:13 until 0:28 into the song.

The 2 are NOT exactly the same, and the house sound was popular around those years, so they might not be on purpose, but to heard something a bit similar in the opening synth hook progression is interesting nevertheless. The "Pierre & Franz" is faster, but was released prior to the Kylie's release, which is slower, and has added layers to it.

Niko & Domino - Super Megastars

with

Niko - Night of Fire

on the intro

Japanese eurobeat song:
Takashi Fuji - Nanda Kanda
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsXnDm2ZhJE

with

Stock, Aitken & Waterman production:
Jason Donovan - Too Many Broken Hearts
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR3pQpqeqSc

Exact same intro, and mostly the same music melody recycled throughout "Nanda Kanda" with slight alterations here and there.
However, the vocal progression in Nanda Kanda differs between Jason Donovan's song, so the Japanese song is not a cover by any means.

Chorus of "Gojira Comes Again / Chai"
and
Verse of "Barbie Girl / Aqua"

Don't believe me? Here, listen: http://vocaroo.com/i/s06fPXjaHNjQ (And of course, in eurobeat, it's faster, but it's almost the same notes, at least progression)

I know it's been mentioned in the forums before, but doesn't look like it was brought up in this thread:

Kevin & Cherry - Chemical Love lifts alot from Jennifer Lopez - Could This Be Love. I don't own SEB 167. I'd be interested to know if it makes mention of this in the liner notes? If not, I'd really like to know if Jennifer Lopez/whoever has rights to that song received royalties.

edit - also, I'm listening to SEB 125 right now and I noticed that the main synthline in Giselle - Let Me Kiss Tonight bears a striking resemblance to the melody from A-ha - Take On Me. I would say it's more than a coincidence and enters the realm of being an homage.

The riff of "Let Me Kiss Tonight" by Giselle sounds a bit like "Take On Me" by A-ha.

"Queen of the Night" by Giorgia Barrows - compare the intro to "Wonder Why" by High Frequency and "Happy Children" by P. Lion.

The introduction of David Dima - Time After Time is similar to Jackie 'O - Alleluia Japan

The riff of Hoky Toky by Pamela sounds like Rasputin by Boney M.
