You know what?

I think this next Eurobeat volume is gonna be oooookay.

Good things always follow in the wake of that image being reposted. As I recall, 173 came out after someone posted that. :D

Oh, btw, that SEB volume not only has verrrrrrry interesting artwork, but it also has excellent, BANGING tunes.

Vicky Vale / Dancing :!:
Leslie Parrish / Save me :o
Mega NRG Man / Back on the rocks
Sara / Wonderland
Norma Sheffield / Suspiria
Cherry / Yesterday

...I'm gonna stop before I end up just posting the track list.

Everyone, make it your duty to listen to 077 today!

Does the riff to Angel Right to Me remind anyone else of the Scooby Doo theme tune, or is it just me?

Could be the reason that's the one SCP song I like on this disc. :P

Just you...I just don't hear the "Scooby dooby Doo, Where are you?" I can see how it fits...but the melody just doesn't line up.

The album was just okay though I saw good stuff from all the labels this time around. Am I the only one that is baffled by the Domino song? It sounds like GoGos, SCP, and HRG had a baby and out came that song. Energy wise it reminds me of the Juliet songs from when Sinclaire was producing at A-Beat C. Definitely not a typical Domino track and that's a good thing. Cactus Girl is just plain sweet too.

To me, Domino's new song sounds like the melody from the chorus of "Butterfly" by Smile D.K. mixed with the melody of Valery Scott's "A Simple Melody", which themselves were even somewhat copied by Madonna in her song "Some Girls" on her album MDNA just before the chorus hits. (when she sings "Some girls make a scene, just their mouth and talk obscene, cryin' in a limousine.")

I hear this same "Smilke D.K" melody when Domino sings "Hey hey, let me say, you don't have to runaway" and "like a BUTTERFLY, dancing on the flowers up and down" She even makes the reference to BUTTERFLY, as in Smile DK's song "Butterfly."

A tribute to Smile D.K.
Just a coincidence? I don't think so! Cool song by Domino! Domino has that similar vocal tone like Smile D.K. as well.
