12 songs debut out of nowhere this week.This marks the TIME of some magor changes in my list. There is just so much great unreleased music out there that give some serious competition to the monthly SEB dose of Eurobeat. Super Duper, as well as unreleased Blast and AbeatC. Now if just TIME would join the party, we would finally see some more Dall Ora material at the top.

I thought Eurodudes would take the honour this week, but this Michelle Rose is one Hit maker. Absolutely perfect SAW- ish vibe throughout the song and another bomba for HRG Attack.

Incredible how Sinclaire can dish out these mega catchy numbers out of no where. Maybe one explosion too many, but it doesn't knock me out my Eurobeat zone too much.

Daniel hit the mark with this unreleased number. The melody in the chorus is really the style I love from DELTA!

Good things come for those who are patient. The return of Claudio on vocals was nothing ,but spectacular on this old skool vibed Eurobeat hit.

A title so unlike the Jow we know, but as mega as one would expect. A sure classic for the label.

Love that synth riff! So original and a bit unorthadox in style. Dee Dee Wonder is a certified hit maker.

Now this is Fast Cy-Ro style! It's actually a newer song and It has a Italo melody throughout the song, but just at a faster pace. I guess it was one of the expiremental trax before kicking down the bpms.

Bigger than his debut single! This one should stick around a few weeks, since I really like the way he carries out the melody when he sings the chorus. Not the next Night Of Fire, but definately one of SCP's best out there.

Funky Warriors is an enticing production to me because it experiments with a lot of musical ideas and even has some eccentrically catchy instrumentation. I especially love the 16th-heavy intro buildup, the free-running synthline, and numerous key turns up through the chorus. The song is so catchy, in fact, that it even quite caught the_ditz's attention when I made a StepMania simfile out of it a few years ago.

Blade Runner is a really good example of what made TIME such a great and unique label around 1994-1995. During this period, their productions tended to be remarkably darker, heavier, and grungier than eurobeat has ever been before or since. They were a lot more adventurous, too, with the musical construction of their tracks, and would often make intricate use of breaks and buildups throughout. The results were dynamic and intriguing. To make a comparison, this era of TIME was like the Empire Strikes Back of eurobeat - darker than usual, but also the most dynamic and well-developed. I actually didn't like Blade Runner that much at first because I thought it had a dull chorus, but now I'm really digging all the ideas it plays with. I really like the repeat-ascending 16ths in the beginning, followed by a loose-sounding yet rhythmically interesting synth riff, and pace-breaking hits during the b-melody. It's a dark and momentous song that's certainly nothing like anything you'd expect today or even just a few years within the time it was made.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I really miss that darker side of Eurobeat. Even the titles like American Psycho and Killer in New York reflected a darker more myserious tone to the songs back then.
