Virginelle - I Just Wanna Be Your Angel

This song is actually my favourite out of the two Elena Gobbi songs on SEB 147.

Got my 6 year old brother into eurobeat, and this is his favourite song so far

Kevin Johnson was awesome. Great Eurobeat vocals. I Wish he would return to the frontline.

I heard "Promises" today. Another Kevin Johnson classic

Gipsy & Queens- Queens of Disire (TIME)
Love this song and its perfect title for them too. This was also thier most Guitar influenced and agressive sounding song.

ABeatC will always be a Eurobeat favourite-

today I choose Mr. Groove- Love In Chinatown
This is the era where Intros were essential to Eurobeat.

Awesome song. I also really enjoy the remix of it found only on the vinyl "Love in Chinatown (Another version)". It has more techno-ish synths used for the riff.

My song for today is "A-Beat Boys - Get Somebody".

I love the intro, as I feel I have heard it somewhere before in an 80's song, but I can't put my finger on where the intro comes from.
The closest song I can find with a similar intro from the 80's is
Alyssa Milano - Born to Love, from 1989. Both intros have a similar melody progression in the piano synths used.

Another artist who produces 80's sounding tunes but for today also uses this same cool melody in his song here on the intro:

If anybody can find another song from the 80's with a similar melody as "Get Somebody", let me know as I know I've heard that intro before somewhere else.

I love that song! It's one of A-Beat C's finest and most overlooked classics. Dave Rodgers, Powerful T., and Matt Land are beautifully employed to an original and addictive tune.

You probobly didn't listen to the AOR/Glam/HairMetal of the 80, but that intro sounds suspiciopusly from either Giuffria,Winger or Hardline song Itro.
Being that Giancarlo Pasquinni is a heavy fan of the Rock genre: I wouldn't be surprise3d if he was inspired by it as well when writing that inro to "Get Sombody"

My song for today is another boy band of AbeatC. For me thier best song ever. I've chosen it countless of x, so it should be as no surprise I choose

Heart and Body by the NRG Boys (ABeatC)

Rich Hard - Wild Boys

When it first came out I hated its guts, it was just too weird for me (especially the vocals.)

Now I listen to it because of the vocals. Actually, Wild Boys is definitely among the very top when it comes to corny vocals.

DANGEROSS, GOT TO FESS DE RESS!

Rich Hard - Wild Boys

Surely a great song in many musical aspects. I'll change the word "corny" to "quirky"since "corny" is mostly negative. I'll even go as far as Cheesy, but admitted: its those vocals that give it its charm.

The one I really digging on is the new one; "Fight".

DoIt! DoIt! DoIt!
