zomg I LOVE DOMINO ! i never hate her. XD
(i couldnt hear the lady taking my order at mcdonalds today because fuku wa uchi was blasting in my ear. XD)

This is an odd one. Mu-mo has it as My Universe, and the download, but on SCP's site it's listed as "My Univers". Maybe an intentional misspelling that got "corrected"...?Nine wrote:Two spelling mistakes on this CD I've noticed...
On the tracklist on the back: My Univers

Ok Here is my review. Way too much ABeatC and SCP..and especially those annoying synths. Still a rather extraordinary cd.
1. Ace- Future Land
A reliably good title from SCP. Real exiting intro to kick things off. I love the fact that SCP used traditional Eurobeat synths for this song. It really is a GREAT song and one of my favs of this cd. The verses and the way they insert small synth riffs inbetween words really impressed me. ..and a super plus for that mini break. Great start for SCP!
10/10(been a while since I gave SCP a perfect grade. Not since "Shock Out" drools.
2. Annalise- With Your Photograph
Very impressive intro. Snap Snap. YeSSS wicked synths! Definately got an old Itaol vibe to it. The verses, bridge and chorus all have oozing power! That is where Day After Day had failed. This is her best song since her comeback.
9+/10
3. Kevin Johnson-You Light My Fire
Cool. More Italo inspired songs. The spoken part is definately old Italo.
Kevin's voice is always a treat. Much like Brian Ice. Not forced at all, but very natural flow with the lyrics. Now someone please remind me where he got the main hook from? Some Rick Astly song Maybe?
8/10
4. Lollita- Stop The Time Tonight
Ouch trouble in Eurobeat paradise with those "Transy" sounds. Sorry, but her hyper style is just so drowned out with those synths. In my opinion what makes her sound , are the traditional synths in her songs. This is not the direction she wants to go in
5/10
5. Mega NRG Man- Rock Me
Now here we go! This is miles better than "Black Jack" Great synths are so important to in Eurobeat. Wheather they be fast-Agressive-chaotic or Soft-bouncy-romantic. This one is hot. Man those guitars are smoking-much like TIME style. That last part with dropped music and bare guitars and drums really gives the song the power it deserves!
9+/10
6. Vanity- Take A Look In My Heart
First thing I notice was the intro. Interestimg way to start with the verse and Elena doing the Clara classic does such an incredible job with this song. She makes it hers. The old Asian -inspired main synth hook is hyped to the max, but so masterfully remixed by TIME that it actually sounds better than original. The end is of course one of the highlights of this song...and Vanity...so damn sexy! This one in extended should be a real thrill.
10/10
7. Domino- Go Go Where U Wanna Go
Happy happy happy. Not a bad thing at all. Domino has never really exited me with her Japanese singing style, but this one works well. It is not threatening at all to Traditional Eurobeat. I have been actually liking this one since the first TIME I heard it. I initially give it a 7, but now-a days I'm sooping it to an 8.
8/10
8. Franz Tornado & Mad Cow- Moo Moo Dollars
Everyone expected a Boom Boom Dollars remake... I'm kinda actually glad it isn't. This is OLD SKOOL Federicco at his wildest. Let's all laugh together with him "YEAH"! The Break...(drooling) More songs are doing this. HRG sure hit a bullside with this one and to give it such an EPIC title, they sure were betting high. I would personally like to shake your hand Mr. Rimonti!
(hope HRG read my review)
10+/10
9. Kika & Fansy- Tuttifritti Lollipop
another Bomba from SCP. You see how good TRADITIONAL synths sound? This one up there with "Roly Poly Rock" I guess I love there wild style most. Those little synth inserts in between lines really add energy to these songs! The synths sound a bit HRG Attack in the way so I'm loving this song even more.
10/10
10. Energy Man- Bad Bad Bad
Hands down my favorite song on this cd! Surprised? Of course not. Boom Boom Fire is one of my fav old skool DELTA songs ever, so this is such a treat for me. Great intro. Infact this song is so well put together that I could call it perfect. I Think I will! By thw way my favorit parts are the Verses and bridge. To best describe it would be to call it Hyper Sexy.
10+/10
11. Pamsy- My Universe
Another Pamsy- Transy song. I just can't get used to this style at all. I really dislike those style of synths to a point where I wanna break into SCP studio and dispose of that keyboard.
The song is not halfbad and I can't believe Pamsy is part of Scream Team. So much different style.
5/10
12. Jeff Driller- Furious Pistol
As far as Jeff Driller songs go, It doesn't fit his style. I'm used to more Power from this title. As far as HRG goes, this is a great song. I like the rythm, the melody and lyrics and the part where the music is completely dropped right before the last chorus. All according to the song. I think a more suitible title would have been Joe D. Toaster or Joe Banana. To specify the part that most breaks from Jeff's style, would have to the bridge right before the chorus. Still wicked synths and great vocals make this one of my favs.
8/10
13. Helena- Night Harmony
13 songs and this cd is still going strong. Now TIME gives me Helena. Thank you! I really needed this romantic number. What would SEB be like without My reliable TIME love song. This is such a great song. I love the main hooks & the way they are played. Elena has such a heavenly voice that fits this style since the beggining of TIME. I doubt there will ever be another Elena Feratti
9+/10
14. Jock Lee- Rock n Roll Is My Life
Two TIME songs side by side. What a remedy. This is really rocking and the Party vibe really works marvelously. I'm thinking this style would fit Dr. Money or early Robert Patton if TIME would ressurect those titles(hint hint). Whenever I hear this track I gotta stop and snap my fingers to the beat.
10/10
15. Mellisa White- Starry Sky
First off. Where those transy synths sound out of place on most SCP songs, they sound perfect in this Mellisa track. The song really is beautiful reminding me of Lucya trax. The verse builds up to the bridge and that in turn introduces the beautiful chorus perfectly. O.K so I return SCP thier keyboard to make more songs like this one, but only like this one. Even more heavenly than Helena's song.
10/10
16. Eurofunk- Running Ninja
Here we go two DELTA songs back to back. I always like this intro to themax. It gives the song that running feeling. I also dare say that his vocals sound frightenly like Nando's in the way he emphesises his words at the end of every line. Isn't it him? Especially when he sings "Boy" and "Man" ...but I guess it's Davide? definately looks like Eurofunk have changed thier style of music...and for the better!
9+/10
17. Cherry- Rain
looks like DELTA read my recommendation from SEB 174. I quote myself "Write a hit for Cherry" I really forgive Clara for that mess on 174. This is also OLD SKOOL DELTA. It's terrifically Asian inspired in the synths just like in the old days. Just listen to those keys after verse and right before chorus. They actually give me "rain falling" feeling, but in a way where she's actually worried about it, which in turn gives the lyrics the edge they deserve to be believable. This is great song writing from DELTA team!
10/10
18. Dave Rodgers feat Stef Burns- Red Core
When I first read the Burns, I thought I saw Pete Burns and my blood rushed to "Red Core" levels(He is one of my fav voaclists of all-TIME) This Dave entry is good, but not extra ordinary. I think with such a good combination of keyes, he could have produced a better main chorus, than just a rehashed "Space boy" melody. I mean the hook is so wicked reminding me of "100" , but... well let's just say I know he coulld do better. ..and the song needs to be teken back to studio and given a proper ending. The title "Red Core" deserved so much more.
7/10
Ok so I gave a lot of songs 10s. This cd really is great on so many levels that I chose to disect every song on the Dr.'s operating room. The main theme here is.WICKED SYNTHESIZERS!.... so many great entries from all labels. So much power and one Beautiful song from Mellisa White. The only two songs that I didn't like were Pamsy and Lollita. That's 16 out of 18 solid trax that I thouroghly enjoyed to the highest level.

The main hook sounds like Maybe Tonight - Norma Sheffield or Mine Is Your Love - Margaret, and the bridge sounds like Tora Tora Tora - Domino or Din Don Dan - Suzy Lazy for me.drnrg wrote: 3. Kevin Johnson-You Light My Fire
