SEB 177 Review-------------------------------
Track 01
Daniel
One More Try
We start with a really cool intro introducing us to the joyride that is SEB 177. Then the A Melo kicks in and the songs set. The vocalist here is new (i think?) I thought this was Simon Valeo at first but now I can definitely say it is not. Best part about the song is the Sabi, it's really powerful and sounds pleasant to the ear. The bass is just right and the synth choice goes very well with this type of song. Another solid Delta production that i'll be listening to for a while. A good way to start the album!

Track 02
Wendy White
Take Away
Annerley Gordon! INSTANT 10!
Nah, but still a pretty good song. Solid intro that starts off the song with a good impression. Annerley does a good vocal work as usual and I do enjoy her voice. The only real gripe I have with this song is the repetition of "Take Away", It's just gets on my nerves after a while

.
AG fans will definitely not be dissapointed, because they dont really care about the song as much as the vocalist. (It's True

) Good song, but nothing really special.

Track 03
Mark Astley
Iron Man
Time to be hero, call me Iron Man! From the moment the song starts, it never lets that energy down and keeps it up throughout the song. I think this is the closest i've heard Delta get to a Hi-NRG Attack style of song, from the lyrics, to the vocals and crazy synths. I dont really know what it is, but this song is addictive! Great to see Delta keeping up the pace with this song.
Danger is coming back, destruction!

Track 04
Nuage
Singing On The Stars
Most Nuage songs these days sound the same to me, but I'll take what I can get. I really like the subtle intro, and the vocals sound good as usual, I just think this song needs a little more to have that extra hook, which would keep me from pressing "next" on my playlist. Come on ABeatC, keep up!
7/10
Track 05
Kelly T
Come Baby Love Me
Interesting intro, as most of the songs on this album so far. More Kelly T is always welcome, since I loved her last song. However, this ones not as excellent, but still good. Once again, its nothing really special and it needs just a little more to keep me listening. Production-wise, good synths and a cool bridge near the end.

Track 06
Kiki & Fancy
Go Bananas
This is how I felt after listening to this song...
GOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANAS
GOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANAS
GOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANAS
GOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANAS
GOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANASGOBANANAS
I Really went Bananas after this song, just TOO MANY BANANAS. I swear i'm not eating one for a long time. Thats all I can say about this song, listen to it for yourself and try not to Go Bananas, because I think thats what theyre trying to do to people with this song.

Track 07
Fastway
Crash Boom Burn Me Up
This is exactly how I like my Eurobeat, the Fastway. Exactly what I was expecting from Ennio, energy, and tons of it. The pace of 177 stays and this song definitely doesnt slow it down. I dont really need to say that this song is good or what not. SCP and Fastway fans will love it either way.
8.5/10
Track 08
Cyberella
I am Cyberella
Thanks for letting me know, after this song I'll never ever mistake you for anyone else. Pretty sure this is little Ms. Accatino singing, and her voice is borderline annoying, but I still like it. Not too bad for Hi-NRG, and theyre impressing me this decade, which is weird O_o since I always hated them before.. Eurobeaters know what to expect from the Label, insane craziness. Just dont forget, she is Cyberella.

Track 09
Leo
Another Life
Great intro, and another good Time production. I'm loving the Disco style and I hope they dont ditch it anytime soon, because it works for them. Reminds me of Love Is Blue, which Is a good thing, and good to see Time keeping up the strong vibe i'm getting from 177 so far.

Track 10
Alexis
Night Prayer
Yay, Elena (or Is It Francesca? I can never tell the difference between the two..) finally singing a song that suits her voice. I'm impressed and glad that this song stays fast and energetic throughout. Make her sing songs like these more often and I wont complain as much!
8/10
Track 11
Powerful T
Dangerous Love
Hmmm, i'm not sure about this song, because as usual it's powerful, but the vocals are needlessly over dramatic. Mr T should stop wailing as much, and he didnt in Ace of Spades, which I liked a lot, and anyone who thought that wasnt good is crazy!

Anyways, the synths and sabi is OK, and it's a good song, just tone down the vocals..
7/10
Track 12
Candy Taylor
Fly
This song was almost perfect, except for one little thing. Clara overshot her vocals. Fly, High, Sky anything in this song with that AIIIII sound just makes it unpleasant to listen to. She sung too HIIIIIIIIIIiiiGH in this song, but other than that small gripe it's an excellent song. Delta still keeps up the pace with an awesome bassline and kick ass production. Just remember to tone it down a bit next time, Candy.
9/10
Track 13
Kasanova
What Kind Of Cure
I like the intro a lot, and Mr Giordano really knows how to keep his voice under control and sound pleasant. I especially like how he carries his voice in You and Blue. I think it's better than Lou Grants version, but thats just me. Another good Time song, and drnrg should not be dissapointed.
7.5/10
Track 14
Garcon
Hannibal The Cannibal
I didnt really like Super Kaiser, but I do like this song in particular. Standard Hi-NRG here, but a bit more sane. Cool lyrics and the same sound that fans love will please most, as it did for me.
7.5/10
Track 15
Leslie Parrish
King Of Heart
I dont know what to say, but I do know that I read Computer Music magazine, and that you should all subscribe to it, twice, because thats how many times they advertise it in the song. Oh well, cant complain because that voice sure is sexy. Clara sings good here and the song itself is very good. I love those occasional moans, which makes this song strangely erotic

. Awesome Synths, and Sabi. Ignore the blatant ads and take the song for what it is. Another great Delta production.
8.5/10
Track 16
Dave Rodgers
Watch Out
Noooo! Dave Rodgers comes to ruin the day. Okay, I dont wanna sound mean, because the synths and guitar is good in this song, but Rodgers voice just brings the song down. Uninspired vocals keep this song from being great, but oh well, was I expecting something amazing? Guess not..
6/10
Track 17
Ai Yamamoto
Pink In The Pink
Really wierd song title. Whats she mean when she says she's the "Pink In The Pink". Do I really wanna know? Is it a sexual reference, or something deep? It's probably just nonsense, but who cares, Ai learned how to sing!
Wonderful sounded like a robot was singing it, but now she can carry the vocals well throughout the song, and that distinct SCP style also helps.
Good job, but I do wanna know what your singing about.
8/10
Track 18
Manuel
Ready Steady Go!
Here we go! The end to a great album. Manuel brings back that energy that I oh so love with this great ABeatC production. The subtle sounds in the song work well, and I like the AHAH in the Sabi. Synthwork is awesome and Manuel closes the album with a bang. It ends with a smile on my face
9/10
The 170's have been really good so far and I'm glad that the hard working people in Italy are bringing more quality to the table, as well as Avex with their good song-choice with this Album. Theres no boredom here, just pure energy, which is what Eurobeat is all about, right? An album that no fan should miss, and I feel that my purchase is justified.
Disc 2 is also great. The Song choice and the fact that its all extended with some songs that really needed it justifies your purchase even more.
Much better than 176, just that theres no song deserving of a 10. But who cares when every song is quality.
Top 3:
One More Try -
Daniel
Iron Man -
Mark Astley
Ready Steady Go! -
Manuel
Bottom 3:
Only Watch Out, every other song doesnt deserve to be in a bottom 3.
