Come on man... I was talking to Federico (Kaioh, Freddy Rodgers) not too long ago and the main reason you haven't seen him on the series since 192 is because Avex is just not offering the labels as much work as before because the sales are so low. I do agree that by now, Avex should at least put the albums on iTunes, but if you're going to download the stuff from Initial D World, to at least purchase them from Musico and then get your higher quality copy from there. That way you at least support Avex and the labels while getting your better copy.

no don't say that  :( Eurobeat is THE BEST!

Well the people who pirate seems to outnumber those who actually support it and they obviously could care less about eurobeat. So why bother continue it? Avex isn't going to make money off of it anymore so why keep a dying asset?

I took the link down, and I'll continue taking down links as soon as they pop up.

It's not just eurobeat that gets badly pirated. Kelly told me he found an article that claimed that 95 percent of all music is pirated. Eurobeat's sheer lack of accessibility only makes its situation even worse.

If I can at least purchase this album on Musico, however, it sure beats downloading the album illegally and not actually supporting eurobeat.

Like I said, if you bought it off musico then torrented the hq version it'd be fine bur people don't do that unfortunately...

I agree with that, it's a good way to get high quality files, and still pay for it.
And best of all.. it's legal!

That copyright crap makes me sick.

You guys seem to forget about something : money. Even if the will is there, sometime you just can't buy anything because you don't have the money and have other priorities.

Even if the CD would have been available in my CD Store, I wouldn't be able to grab it 'coz I don't have the money. That is why pirating stuff is highly popular. We just can't afford every single album where we love a track or two. That is why we grab it from people that offers it illegally online...

However, even with that mindset, I still understand that we need to encourage the artists if we can though.

I don't see much mention of copyright anywhere in this thread...
And, if you only love two tracks, buy those two tracks, at the cheapest price you can get them for (if you're truly that poor, that slightly-above pocket change is a stretch). Not every track-by-track store is foreign-IP blocked, and there ARE ways to buy.

See but that's not so much of an issue if you really look at your expenses and junk. You've had how many months to save up for this album? If you bought the tracks off musico (150 yen each, total about 20 bucks at most though I think there's a purchase CD option there not sure), didn't download them from that site because of the quality, torrented the album from Initial D, you'd be fine. People are expecting to get stuff for free on a premium genre music (defined as music not readily available in one's country) and it doesn't work that way.
