De Niro- Out Of Control (TIME)
One of my favorite songs ever!
Gimme Love is fantastic! Was Starfighter his third on Time? Out Of Control is good as well ofcourse

My song for today may sound a bit odd, but I think it's a perfect song:
Lou Grant - Para Para Paradise

I totally concur! That's one of my favourite A-Beat C songs, and I do believe it was you who made me aware of the song's existence all the way back in 2004.
So I presume you guys have an uncut version of the song on vinyl or something, cuz I thought it only exsisted as mix version on that Aerobeat compilation? I have yet to listen to a complete version of that song.

I bought the full length (extended) version from iTunes some years back and totally love it

This is the Way / Emy
Aishu eurobeat done totally right. It has a synth hook that stretches across a broad range, plus a sort of dark vocal melody that still manages to carry that special touch that gives so much replay value to Saifam's music. Although the label is pretty much dead now, they at least have plenty of shiny gems like this straight across their catalogue.

Great pick! (even though I'm an avid fan of early Nuage)

Tht's right! "Starfighter" followed by debut artists Charly and E.C. James. I love "Pära Para Paradise" once I found the precise spot to mix it in with other vinyls, I loved it even more.
My song for Friday is also from that era.
Sandy Bee- Give Me Your Love (TRD 1507)
Today belongs to classic Tommy K. sung by Gino Caria on TIME's
Downtown records.
Tommy K.- Love In Chinatown (DTR1006)
good memories with that one.

Still on the Saifam trend - this one is quite under-appreciated I think, but I love the cute and subtle synth hook and the strong vocal melodies and performance (and that killer key change in the final hook):
WITH MY FIRE / SARAH
I know people keep going on about it, but listening to my old Saifam collection increasingly makes me super sad. As much as I'm enjoying the Eurobeat scene at the moment, it saddens me that a label that really helped to shape the 160's (the first SEB decade that I followed from start to finish) is really no more... especially when they had such a strong team in place.
