Tell Me Why was sung by Tom Hooker, I think you can recognize him in certain parts of the song, although the tone he used is rather different so I understand it is not very clear that he actually sings this song. My Time was sung by his successor, an English guy (I don't know his name). He also sang You Have A Way and other songs on that album.
Interesting. I'm wondering if Den Harrow actually sang any Italo or was he really just the songs' image? I've seen some vids of him live. Heavy accent and doesn't sound bad, just not as vocal friendly as Hooker.
song for today is an ABeatC favourite of mine.
Mike Skanner-Atomic Playboy
Noone but Gino could have made the vocals as effective and epic.

If there is one single song with his real vocals, it would be Ocean. I heard several people claim that Den Harrow sang that song himself, but that is obviously not entirely true. The artist name of Ocean could as well have been Ian Lex & Taleesa instead of Den Harrow. The rap in the verse and bridge was performed by Rino Facchinetti and Emanuela Gubinelli. The only part Den may have done himself is the first part of the chorus: "One day I tell you babe I see your sorrowful face - like you in the ocean - one day" and then Ian Lex takes over. Den probably didn't manage to sing the rest of the chorus properly.

Wow, that's one hell of a song! It's one of my favorites! Those synths are excellent.
My choice for today is
Laurie - You Can Tell Me.

I rememeber that song on the Iventi charts. I didn't really care for its Housy approach and it seemed out of place on the Hi NRG Iventi charts. Now that you mention it; It's so very obvious that he and Ian, switched off during the chorus. It's funny how we take things for granted untill they are pointed out to us.
alot of Italo NRG was incorporated housy and tech parts in thier songs. Some did it right. I would say TIME did it best with
Pleasure & Pain - Higher and
Tommy K. Desperado A Little housy piano work, but 95% Hi- NRG.
I'll Choose
Desperado - Tommy K. (TIME) as my song of the day.
