I have thought this when listening to certain parts of the track - especially when he sings "the Carribean" - it just has a Dave twang.

However, there are some definite vocal effects going on if it is Grandpa Dave behind the vocals as other parts of the song sound nothing like him at all.

HOLY CRAP.

Bye Bye Tokyo is Boom Boom Sexy Lady 2009.
Does anyone else hear this? I just started singing the chorus to that over the chorus for BBT... EXACT MATCH.

It's pretty much to Boom Boom Sexy Lady what Bad Bad Bad is to Boom Boom Fire. I enjoyed it for what it is, but it's not groundbreaking.
I think it's hard to miss! :P Maybe newbies to the genre wouldn't have realised.

Most oif these are points that have been brought up on the member's reviews. Does anyone actually read them?

I always get the feeling that few people actually read the reviews which is why I have stopped doing them to be honest.

No way in hell that it's Dave...
Actually, I think it could be that Riccardo Majorana guy, who co-wrote the song (as well as a few other recent ones).
Riccardo -> Rich Hard – makes sense, doesn't it?

You know what, I never ever heard Boom Boom Sexy Lady. So, I think that Bye Bye Tokyo is a complete new song by itself.

By the way, Bad Bad Bad =/= Boom Boom Fire.

He's definitely providing extra power in the backup vocals , but the main voice isn't him.

the key word in there is ''think'' ;)

You should definitely hear boom boom sexy lady, it's an amazing song!

Bye Bye Tokyo is a great song nevertheless.

and Bad Bad Bad follows the almost exact same chord progression than Boom Boom Fire, with many more stylistic similarities. They aren't the same song, and Bad Bad isn't a remix, but it's clearly a tribute. Ditto for Bye Bye Tokyo.

It's actually kinda sad, since the Eurobeat reviews were a big part of what goit me to join up. Well, at least we still got the Top 10 and song of the week threads.

Ironically SEB 196 will probly be my last review as well. since the next 3 cds are gonna be nonstop. You'll probly just see the initiual thoughts review with the smileys and that's if AVEX even bothers with previews for the new songs :???:

So, after finally listening to the album (only got it this weekend), I came to the conclusion that Kate Rush isn't Krystal nor Davide (whoever thinks it's Davide picthed up is now known as 'deaf'), but clearly Denise DeVincenzo, formerly known as Nuage.

And I'm not that impressed by this album. Maybe I just need to listen to it more...

I kinda see where you're coming from, but I really don't think it's Nuage. Very likely it's just a female vocalist we haven't heard before.

Thank you - finally someone said it.

Why is there always this mutiny whenever a new alias appears of people determined to "out" the real vocalist? I really don't get it at all.

I think too that it's probably just a new vocalist. But I also recalled an old joke I made. Wasn't it the 'who is Krystal'-topic where I said the same? :')
