Nah, it's really just that it's now May and not April, when both tracks were revealed.

Rain And Tears is now up for download; Across The Universe is no longer posted (see my post in the 189 thread).

Across The Universe is now up for download. Forget my old theory about Avex having already stolen it for 189 (though it still may appear on the compilation).
(sorry, triple-post!

See - I told you the tracks have a habit of mysteriously disappearing then reappearing for no reason!

ARD 1348 - LOSING MY HEART / VALERY SCOTT
ARD 1349 - BATMAN / COO COO (really looking forward to this one!)

I'm pretty sure it will have the na na Na Na...batman song in it somewhere. It seems Farina has gotten into super heroes as of late. Diabolik and Batman are a lot alike. and I mean the Dark Knight not the goody twoshoes played by Adam West.LOL!

Impressions of the new samples:
LOSING MY HEART: Fluent lyrics, a spectacular melody, and typical quality Melody Castellari vocals - definitely a keeper!
BATMAN: Hmm, I don't know. Interesting song to say the least; the Coo Coo vocals are probably an attempt to make this stand out from Mauro Farina's regular tracks, but I honestly don't think they fit this song very effectively. It's cheesy quirkiness could grow on me easily though; the track is still nicely produced and has a catchy synth hook. I might buy this to check it out.

Losing My Heart doesn't appeal a massive amount to me - it's a bit too smooth and "major" sounding for me. I much prefer Rain & Tears (only just listening to it now!) in melodic and production terms.
Batman just sounds plain weird with Coo Coo's vocals, but I doubt I would like the song much from that sample even with another vocalist.

Wow, looks like someone really doesn't like Melody Castellari's usual style at all (especially since Rain & Tears is by the other girl)!

I really enjoyed Oh World, but maybe that isn't Melody's usual style. From talking to me over the past few months, you've probably come to realise that I have very specific tastes relating to the melodic content of Eurobeat tracks...

Might as well give it a shot.
F.C.F.- Across the Universe. What I like about this clip is that the chorus doesn't start with the lines "Across The Universe, so that shows a little diversity. Mauro sounds great as usual especially in the vereses and bridge. The chorus has a cool Alpahtown-like vibe going on.
Lara- Rain & Tears- I don't hear a world of diiference is many Eurobeat females , so the music is above for me on these kinda tracks. I like the softer sounding melody of this song as opposed to Melody's. The pianos and keyboardss are not drowned out by the bass and the lyrics seem to have a nice feeling. The added bonus would be the Italo melody it carries throught the clip.
Valery Scott- Losing My Heart- I definately prefer melody at HRG Attack with thier more aggressive sounding tracks. The chorus didn't really do much for me melodywise, but I kinda like the feel of the verses and bridge.
Coo Coo- Bat Man- That chorus sounds so uninspired and the vocals just don't work this TIME around, especially since ,Infinty allready pointed out, that hook is more FCF/ Ken Martin sounding. I must add that As far as I can remeber Saifam has allways created the perfect bridge verse to the chorus. That again shines out in this clip.

I actually like Coo Coo's
Batman. Am I the only one who does?
The Diabolik track is still oozing of awesomeness even until this day. Avex would be crazy not to use it on SEB.

Not at all. I just bought the song last night (along with a whole bunch of other Saifam tracks, as well as a couple of Vibration ones), and was pleasantly surprised. The chorus sounded a bit silly at first, but I've come to find that it works in the long run. The song is very different from anything Saifam has done before, and it's most certainly not for everyone, but I've come to love it a lot.

QFT - I wanted it really badly on 189. Hopefully it'll see the light of day by the beginning of the 190's, then? Either way, the song is just plain amazing and I love it more everytime I listen to it.
