I WILL FLY
(Gelmetti-Gilardi-Varola)
Far away all over the seas
Wherever I could find a way to be free
Let me run and fly with body and soul
To the place of no return
Everyday it seems you don’t feel it
But there’s a shadow growing under your feet
So get up to feel your face in the sun
For a new age has begun
I will fly I will run into the night
I will fly I will go to make you mine
I will fly wanna feel myself alive
I will fly ‘till I reach the highest sky
I’m so tired to live in this way
Repeating words I just don’t wanna say
And the cold around is killing the sound
Of my voice that’s calling out
I’m alone but I’ll carry on
and I’m not fear about a future may hard
‘cause I saw a light that was shining so bright
and released me from my lies

I don't know if this has been mentioned already but Francis (Matricks) and I were listening to I Need A Hero last night and he brought up an interesting point.
Is I Need A Hero (which so CLOSELY resembles Music Fever) Delta's response at Time doing Bad Bad Bad (which so CLOSELY resembles Boom Boom Fire)? In other words a situation of, you take our track and we'll take yours? 8D

Re: Kazzong
Ah. I'm from Australia and Kazzong didn't support our country last week. I already bought EM #17 from Juno upon its release, but I just checked Kazzong anyway and it seems Japan, Australia and a bunch of other countries were added. In the future it will help for quicker purchases.newfield wrote:Now it's available for Japan.

And I'm surprised Avex never picked up "My Stars"; it's such a lovely little gem.
I don't think these songs are necessarily not picked up, just haven't been used yet. Read a few pages back about what oresama said about avex wanting Luke's vocals changed since Turbo Disco was originally Luca. Also I remember Laurent telling me Make You Understand/Helen was licensed but they asked him to make a more typical eurobeat-style structure for it, wonder if that ever happened.

On the other hand "I Need A Hero" is a spectacular track in a class all it's own
I don't think it has anythjing to do with anything like that. Every other Eurobeat song sounds almost like tha other. Futhermore. Music Fever was originally written by Luca Pernicci(who isn't at TIME anymore), so it would make no sense to get back at anybody. Is I Need A Hero (which so CLOSELY resembles Music Fever) Delta's response at Time doing Bad Bad Bad (which so CLOSELY resembles Boom Boom Fire)? You do realise that Avex listens to the productions and (possibly) proposes alterations before licensing them, right? You make it sound like Avex needs to license the tracks first before being allowed to critique.taQ wrote:I don't think these songs are necessarily not picked up, just haven't been used yet. I'm surprised that Avex hasn't used "My Stars" yet since it's such a stellar production. Is that better?
Ugh, I'm sorry, but I really can't stand I Need A Hero at all. Compared to its predecessor, it just sounds flat, generic, and plain ugly. The soulful, emotional vibe worked perfectly with Music Fever, but it doesn't fit I Need A Hero at all. The track itself to me is really nothing more than just crappy production, crappy vocals, and an incredibly obnoxious intro phrase. A rip-off is what I'd call it really. Why am I the only person who dislikes Mark Astley's style?
On the other hand, I absolutely adore Kimmy's My Stars. The light production techniques are far more effective with this girl, and I love the eurodance influences they always draw to her. Having even liked her debut track on 176, My Stars is yet another song that I can fall in love with immediately and loop repeatedly without getting bored. Fun, catchy, cute, and extremely original - exactly what young, feminine eurobeat is all about.
