Hmmm... not exactly. You can burn the file as many time as you as long as it is a data CD. If you want to burn it as an Audio CD, you'll have to do it within' Windows Media Player and hoping that it will take your CDs and your burner (Yes, it happened to me.......) and it's a limited number of time (see the licence of the WMA in the properties of the file in a playlist) habitually.the_ditz wrote: You can burn protected files to CD's, and then rip them back onto your hard drive unprotected (if you wished). The only thing that is restricted with the protected or DRM files is that you cannot change the file format, so it may not be compatible with your mp3/portable music player.
Apart from that, you can play them normally on your PC and burn them to your heart's content.
I think somebody posted step-by-step instructions for purchasing tracks on Music Ocean - it's a bit like mu-mo I think in that you need to input a Japanese address, but you can get past that without too much hassle I believe.
Actually there's two methods to bypass the DRM. Burn the WMA to a CD (with WMP) and rip it back and the other, my favorite, is Stereo Mixing and record the thing into a MP3.
(If the explication on how to unprotect the files are not ok according to the (invisible) rules, then, I'll edit this part to remove it.
