Super Eurobeat 227
Honestly, I think Delta is currently one of the better labels that the series has to offer, even with Morris Capaldi producing everything. Both of their tracks on SEB 227 are quite good, especially the one by Eliza. Did you not see me hand out a 9.5/10 to it?drnrg wrote:I really hope more members cept me liked the two DELTA tracks? I really enjoyed those two songs. I think DELTA are getting the bad post Newfield treatment too often.

certainly and I agree . Your whole review wasn't the regular run of the mill it was quite well thought out and intellegent. I also think the HRG tracks are above average this TIME around.
Anyway, I know where you stand on the DELTA, but lately: especially poor Cherry, has gotten quite a bit of slack from others.
anyway, here is another vinyl version of the Luke and Cherry song. I love that one.

eXtaticus
Nonono eXtaticus! I can't believe you just said that? Autotune Clara Moroni? One of the best Italo/Eurobeat vocalists of all TIME. Autotuned is used by the Big Wig record companies who think that the listener wants all thier artists to sound the same. It was borne under the hand of those like Chris Brown. That should tell you everything right there?Better yet;let's just leave that process for those of the Trap genre.Current-era Delta is tying with SCP (and sometimes Dima) as my favourite ever label. As much as I often don't like the vocal performances Cherry, Luke and Paul Harris are giving nowadays, it's difficult to fault Delta's production; I'd use a little more autotune on those vocalists, personally, and some modern Delta tracks have occasionally sounded a touch samey and effortless, but they're generally an excellent label. The incredible riffs, interesting lyrics and powerful synths just make it.

Maybe drnrg thought extaticus was suggesting some T-Pain effects lol, that's the first thing that comes to a lot of people's mind when they hear "autotune". When used gently to polish an already awesome singer, you can't hear the autotune.
I think Autotune = good
But autotune distortion = not something I like to hear in mah eurobeats

drnrg... autotune wasn't born with Chris Brown. It's been used for a looooooong time. The first mainstream autotune boom happened with the song "Believe" by Cher. Probably one of the tracks I looped the most in my entire life, for the record.drnrg wrote:Nonono eXtaticus! I can't believe you just said that? Autotune Clara Moroni? I disagree with Delta being good. It just all sound the same these days. I listen to Eurobeat Masters Newfield once got up and... it's so diverse in sound. Under Capaldi and Rizzi... sorry, their sound is just so monotone and generic. A lot blamed Hi-NRG Attack to be stale but Delta is getting there faster than Hi-NRG did. I liked 3 Delta songs (I said 2 previously, forgot about a song last time) in the last 7 volumes: Don't Forget, Fairy Tale and Mayday. In my 2013 Mix, I included "Poison" which was added to add more fan favorites more than anything because I don't particularly like it that much at all.

QFT...as much as some people dislike Newfield now, he certainly was superbly creative with his songs. The last song I thought was a standout song for me was way back on 201 with Go Shinkansen. The label just doesn't sound as exciting as it used to be. Generic is the best word to describe recent songs.Lebon14 wrote:drnrg... autotune wasn't born with Chris Brown. That's the thing; we know they use it to some extent in studio recordings, and its way more accepted in dance genres, then it will ever be in any other genre, but it can still be regarded as a black checkmark to your name . Especially the Rock genre. saying they use Autotune is like accusing them of not being able to sing. Or havn't you guys seen the interviews? When rock stars wanna discredit each others vocal abilities : they say the other uses "autotune"
anyway, to set things straight; when I mention my disregard for autotune, it will allways be pertaining to that Flo Rida, Ke$ha,Chris Brown, robotioc sounding effect shit. Not the normal polishing up Autotune the whole industry has used from day one. I just have a real hard TIME having to accept its use in Dance/pop, while at the same TIME I'm being told it's concidered taboo in other genres. I would rather the industry just come out and say they all use, or get rid of it alltogether.
you understood exactly what I meant. That's a different kind of "autotune" alltogether. Its a known fact that most if not all Dance music related genres use some kind of "autotune" As lebon stated; it was used in Cher's "Believe " song, but she would turn to stone if anyone ever accused her of autotuning her earlier 70's and glam rock songs of the 80's.Maybe drnrg thought extaticus was suggesting some T-Pain effects lol, that's the first thing that comes to a lot of people's mind when they hear "autotune".

01.Dejo - Wilder Faster Louder 9½
I've lately grown to like Sinclaire tracks a whole lot. This entry just further emphasizes my love for the label. Extra strong sounds paired with great vocals make this a real treat on the ears.
02.Hotblade - Showdown 9-
This track doesn't quite reach my heart the way Disconnected and Legendary Heart did. There's nothing particularly wrong with the production, it just all feels slightly drawn out and maybe a tad boring. The song is still nice, but it all feels like the final piece of the puzzle is missing.
03.Pamsy - Crazy And Free 8-
While Pamsy tracks in general have been a strong bunch, some tracks are just bound to get forgotten. Crazy And Free is a song that does make you feel good, but it's also way too easy to forget. A harmless entry that has nothing on the past hits Pamsy has done. Shame.
04.Manuel - Manga Style 10+++
I wouldn't have ever guessed that Manuel could top the insanely catchy Never Say Never, but that is indeed a possibility. Manga Style as a theme feels rather quirky, but that fits the eurobeat scene quite perfectly. A stellar chorus is what makes the song instantly lovable. Simplistic vocals but so full of power. The clear highlight of the album.
05.Tipsy & Tipsy - Whenever I Dream On 6½
I really wanted to enjoy this entry, but sadly it's on the forgettable front. So so very forgettable. It has no energy to speak of and the chorus is really too tame for a song with an otherwise effective and catchy beat to boot.
06.Gordon Jim - I Wanna Run To Away 8+
Out of all of the entries on the album, nothing annoyed me more than this one did when I picked the album up. The vocals are just so bizarre and constipated it took me quite a while to really get the hang of what is going on. The chorus is quite memorable and the sounds are really chirpy making the song feel really fresh and fun. Still a song that might not really have longlasting appeal.
07.Luke & Cherry - Something Beautiful 7-
Now this song is a good example of potential thrown away. The synth is really wicked and the melody feels pretty uplifting...at times. But the majority of the song just feels lifeless and the vocal work sadly isn't able to give the needed energy. A bit more edge and attitude could've made this song actually stand out.
08.Eliza - One Shiny Day 7+
While happy and bubbly songs are generally my favorite, there's still a limit to where I am able to go. The song feels strongly like the Marika songs from the recent past, but without the similar unique style. The elements all feel pretty nice, but the overall product feels too much like a mishmash. Like the direction was unclear even after the song was finalized.
09.Billy The Butcher - Too Tan 9
So HRG are still able to pick out interesting and amusing titles, even after all these years they are able to surprise you. Too Tan is an entry with a very strong melody and a killer chorus that are the exact thing the label often seems to lack. The c-melody especially earns my love.
10.Norma Sheffield - Take Me Into Your Golden Dream 8½
During the long history with eurobeat that I've had, there's always been one name that never ever manages to make me feel thrilled, Norma. Fortunately the reality is that usually the names I don't pay much attention to are able to surprise me. Take Me Into Your Golden Dream feels like a breeze of fresh air. It feels like the good old A-Beat C entries from the 130s and 140s. I could easily imagine this entry being by someone like Susan Bell and sounding just as perky. A big surprise for me.
11.Martina Dry - Only One 7½
Well we've had a few rather different and interesting HRG entries so far, so it was bound to happen eventually that they'd throw a very typical entry into the mix. Only One feels thoroughly like HRG in its very essence. The song has nothing particularly wrong, but what captivates me about is the nice addition of the Din Don Dan-catchphrase in the chorus. A simple and fun song, but nothing very spectacular in the long run.
12.Dave Rodgers - Money Money Money 9+
It's great to see ol' Giancarlo still has it. The attitude and the energy in his voice to present us with a powerful song. Money Money Money is a nice step away from the typical Sunfire production in the sense that it actually adds more meat around the bones. Now it really feels as if the finalization has been done properly and every necessary layer has been included in the entry. A great entry definitely.
13.Futura - One More Night 6½
Well, in a bit of a disappointing manner the high for Sunfire could only last for so long. One More Night is again a track that has a good premise, but ends up sounding like a few layers too thin. Not to mention that Futura's vocalwork isn't exactly strong enough to carry such an airy entry. I almost feel that Norma could pull off this sort of a song much better.
14.Leo River - Far Away From The Light 9½
Wow, Leo sure is able to deliver. Far From The Light feels like a very mature entry that could easily be produced a bit differently to please the masses in european clubs. In this song's favor it really does feel that the sum is greater than the parts. The verses and chorus flow together perfectly and the c-melody just blows the jackpot.
15.Fastway - Been A Bang 8½
I might be the only one here, but this song feels so wrong for Fastway. The sounds and athmosphere just feel like something I could've imagined to hear from Kiki & Fancy, not Ennio in any universe. The synth and bass just scream of a much bubblier attitude than the macho Fastway we've gotten accustomed to. The song itself is strong but I strongly feel it might've been a lot better with upbeat and happy vocals from the SCP girls.

Saturday Afternoon seems like a great TIME to do a review, so here goes.
First off; this is a great entry into the series. Quite a few aspects give it a different feel from the other entries we had last year. first; is the absence of Dima's material all together. I'm not agreeing that is was a good thing, especially cause his song usually guarantee me at least two more songs in the 5:00 range, but it did shake up the usual structure of an SEB cd. next was the absence of Nick Festari. I will miss his vocals most, but It seems Fulvio could nicely fill the void for the next SEB generation...and last was the fact that we only got one Sinclaire entry. I could be reaching here, but to me it feels like the cd could have sounded even better if it had one more Sinclaire track. I've also decided to add each song's run TIME as this is an integral reason why I will like it more or less than others.
1. Dejo - Wilder Faster, Louder (Sinclaire Style) 5:15
A superb way to start off any Super Eurobeat compilation. 5:15 minuets of agressive Old School DELTA from the late 90's. It's been a while since Dejo made his comeback on SEB. It was the first song released under Sinclaire Style. I think it was the last TIME we saw the name Niko and the overall feel of the song sounded really bland and amature. I had to look it up. It was on SEB 186. Anyway about 5 or so years later; Dejo and Sinclaire, have recapured that sound of the classic; "Nite Of Fire". Right from the intro; one can feel that same groove of a perfect buildup, to an insanely catchy synth riff. His vocals are spot on. the lyrics roll off with near perfect synching of the music and most important, not hyped at all. We even have the whoa whoas from "Nite Of Fire". basically what Sinclaire created here was a perfect anthem for the new sound of his label. Since he only submitted one entry: its almost a given to give the song a well deserved 9+, but the fact that it can easily overpower half of the other songs on the disc; compels me to give it a strong 10. "Nite of Fire" isn't my favourite Dejorio song. Not by a long shot and I put this one two full points higher.
10/10
2. Hotblade - Showdown (SCP) 4:13
SCP first showing on the disc is quite impressive. I'm all ready a huge Hotblade fan, but for different songs than the usual favs. "Plastic" and "Disconnected" are my prefered choices and Disconnected only applies to the sheer perfection of its Extended< which will forever reside in the top 5 SCP extended mixes. First off; at only 4:13 mins, "Showdown" feels incomplete. It's like SCPs sales pitch needed beef around the rind to really sell me the idea that this new song is better than his last. I will say that the intro build up to the actual song is my favourite part of the song. Hotblade sounds great as ever and the song is very well structured, so I don't understand the reasoning behind making the song so short when it obviuosly has so much more potential. Repeating "Crazy love for a showdown" 4x in the middle is a weak way to showcase a mid-break. Plus I also belive it needed at least one more verse or at least a bridge to the last chorus to really end with a bang. In the end it kinda gets lost among all x agressive SCP songs I probly would have given it a cool 9 if it had added an extra mlind- blowing minute or had it done what the next song did.
8/10
3. Pamsy - Crazy and Free (SCP) 4:03
Everyone who knows me; knows that I'm not the biggest Pamsy fan around. I could count the songs I like from her on one hand if I was missing two fingers. For this song; I will add an apendage. So here I am likeing a Pamsy song more than Bore? First off; this is a perfect example of how to fool me into thinking your song is actually a whole minuet longer than it is. Only HRG Attack and DELTA have been able to achieve into fooling me this way and I comend them for it. This song kicks off with a great intro. Actually its hardly concidered an intro, but kicks off powerfully with the chorus in a way that i feel I heard an intro of at least a minuet. I guess it's because the effect sounds like the slowed it down a bit. I notice The Transy Pamsy effects are still in there, but sort of disguised in the backround with some good feeling uptempo synth magic. The melody of the song is also very important and the bridge really builds up to the chorus in a way that I can really get into. I had to hear the song twice while I wrote its review. Its short, but really done masterfully. It adds that last verse, bridge before the chorus and a few special parts and I think that's where SCP fooled me into thinking the song was right about to hit the 5:00 minuet mark. This is how SCP should make all thier 4:00 songs. I can only imagine how much more blissfull an extended remix would sound like. Is it better than "Sunshine baby"? I 'm still not sure, but its pretty fucking great.
9+/10

4. Manuel - Manga Style (GGms) 4:11
Here is the epitom of what a 4;00 song should be structured. GGMs not only fools me like SCP did. Shame on me!, but they put out one of my favoutite GGms song ever. I can't even really relate to the whole Manga style comic thing and still this song sounds amazing. The main reason would be Manuels vocals. He stands out in a world on his own. He has the perfect pitch that gives me an aggressive vibe while still hitting those high notes perfectly. My favs like Caria, Deleo, Bonini, Pasquinni don't really hit very high notes, so Manuel takes on the best of both domains. Once again we have this anthem feel song. Short intro, but powerful enough to get you in gear for the rest of the song. The lyrics sound cheesy and quircky almost like they were added in way after the music was composed. That didn't phase me at all. They don't even try to rhyme. That didn't phase me either. I'm still at awe with the crazy ride that is the chorus. 'OhoHoHs" every where I turn and they add to the fast paced momentum of the song. Anyway. the midbreak is the part that mindblows any Eurobeat fan into knowing that Manuel has a tight grip on his Eurobeat wrting skills. He knows what needed to be done to make this song an instant 2014 fav. I don't know who plays the guitar part. perhaps Fastway? He is the one most connected with guitar playing right? there are actually two parts. The short syths right before the third chorus and than the perfect synchronizing of guitar and saloon style piano effects in the actual mid break. The last special part I love before the outro, is the very last chorus with the vocals effects. I will confess that probly one of the reasons I feel so fooled into thinking I just listened to a 5 min song, is the fact that I rape the replay button a few x when "Manga Style" comes around, but it is still a 4:00 that I would concider complete. Oh and did I mention? My CD favouite this TIME around.
10++++
5. Typsy and Typsy - Whenever I Dream On (Saifam) 5:32
First off: I'm tired of seeing the name Typsy Typsy on the series. Not only because I know that Saifam has so many other artists names in thier hat, but because It gives me the feel that every song from this alias sounds the same. This was also happening to Dima's songs, untill he started shaking it up a little with different aliases. I really have nothning postive to say about this song. Other than it runs a very nice 5:30 with oldschool style intros, midbreaks and even the much missed loner style outro which brings back the intro before the last synth. Im sure I would have enjoyed this song much more had it been some instrumental, because the vocals are horrid. Kiddie gang vocal style is played out and this song really emphasis on that ear shattering style too much for its own good. Lowest possible score I give Eurobeat; sheerly because the genre itself surpasses all others for me, is a 6 and that's what Typsy and Typsy will be getting.
6-/10

6. Gordon Jim- I Wanna Run Away (HRG Attack) 5:13
HRG Attack will forever be in my top 3 Eurobeat labes. Almost always sitting right below number one, but I can always gaurantee myself a great listen by choosing x song from thier catalog and sticking it on my player. This new song will no doubt enjoy a long lasting stay on the top of my charts. Lets get right into that intro. The jumpy synths are very late 90's early 2000s style but at the same TIME with a hint of Italo disco. I allready have a winner on my hands when the intro showcases jumpy synths in thefirst 5 notes. Not only the synths but our newcommer to the label is also giving thier revamped sound a strong Italo feel in the vocal department. Italo vocals are those with strong accents that stand out for thier tempos and delivery of certain lyrics. Perhaps some newbies might have to work a little harder in accepting that the quirkiness of the Italian accent is the charm , but sooner or later they win the listener over. Manuel is one vocalist with very strong accent as is Fastway just to prove my point. Anyway the song itself doesnt sound like it came from another world as I've heard some members mention. It's more the fact that we have a new vocalist, that gives the songs a fresh feel, but I still hear all the HRG tricks in the outros and breaks and the drum roll effects; which I particularly love, that have made them popular all these years. A catchy addicting sing along chorus is one of those and basically the reason I will give the song even another point higher than most songs that I won't find myself really singing along to on a daily basis. The melodies during the verse are nice, but it's really the bridge chorus and riff that get me going to that higher level of NRG I crave. Gordon could have kicked up his tone a bit higher as he commenced from Verse to bridge to chorus, but that would be knit picking, since I still really enjoyed his whole vocal performance overall. I hope to hear more of Gordon. Its great that he took on older non active aliases that Gianni Corraini had but it would also be exciting if he came up with all new personalities to dazzle us.
9+/10

7. Luke & Cherry - Something Beautiful (Delta) 5:10
I don't care how much slack this new Duet gets. I love it! It showcases my favourite DELTA vocalists, has a great run TIME and it's a great feeling uptempo Pseudo Aishu Eurobeat song. I will quickly get out of the way what I didn't like and that,s the slight reference they make to websites and laptop. I think too many of Delta's songs make those reference and I'm kinda sick of it . DELTA. Com and some others. Whatever, I'm just tired of the whole pimping for the gen x thing . Cellulars, laptops ect.. With that out of the way; I still stand behind this song as being in the same league as my other current DELTA favs like Poison , Reborn My Fire and May Day. The song is definately in A different league for its Aishu style feel, but its very spot on vocalwise and the synth is catchy. Another thing is that the synth riff really goes with the atmosphere of the song and sound really born to follow that chorus. Not every riff will go with a song's atmosphere, but this one really does and I really enjoyed that. favourite part is that bridge where the music drops. It's right after the techish notes; which also fit the song tastefully. Anyway, I cant remeber the last DELTA duet so I'm enjoying it even more.

8. Eliza - One Shiny Day (Delta) 5:23
Another great Delta entry. This one will surely pull someone out of a coma. The first thing that runs thru the listeners viens is that uplifting synth riff. It;s played indetically in the style of "Something Beautiful", but with a less serious edge. After all it is a happy song. Once again Delta dream up the perfect synth riff for a song with a title like "One Shiny Day". It has great vocals. Her vocals have a sort of soft feel to them and she really knows how to build them up right to the point where they "shine" in that last note of the chorus. " We must be happy" is a wonderful anthem and delivers the first notes of the riff with such precision that you will know its comming even before it starts. perfect synths. the synth instrumental part is also very important. This is where the listener can envision whet he or she wants the song to be about. A day at the beach with thier partner, An amazing landscape or just taking in the suns rays as you lay back and do absolutley nothing but revel in the song's good feel atmosphere. That's what I would do.

9. Billy The Butcher - Too Tan (HRG Attack) 5:08
This song took me a few listens to realize that I would actually like it better than "I Wanna Run Away" , but after the 5th or so repeat, I realized it's written in the Agresso-Chaotic style that I most fall for when it comes to HRG Attack traks. "Crazy Elephant", "Magna the Pirhanna","Super Kaiser", and hundreds others. That and the fact that it;'s been a while since HRG Attack injected that famouse Russian style into a Eurobeat song, immediatly had me seaching for the replay button. Lets get right into that intro. It's bazooka belly dancers all over again. At least that's how I envision a video of the song would be. I also believe Billy's vocal style fits this type of song more than Gordon's did his entry. Strong accents are very fitiing to the song's structual delivery. he hits the nail in the head with the vibe in the verses and knows just when to take it up a notch just as the chorus rolls in. It's just amazing how much originalty was inserted into this song. I still get visions of belly dancers , elephants and sytars(is that what those sound like)? Anyway, my fav part is the fake outro. For a second I said, is that it, then before the thought even left my my mind. It returned for one more couplet. The lyric play is also very fun. WTF, is Too Tan? Nothing it's just sounds like a good chant for a russian style chorus.

10. Norma Sheffield - Take Me To Your Golden Dream (Sun Fire)4:12
Not only SCP, but now it seems that Sun Fire has gone the 4:00 legnth route. I hope this is not AVEX telling him to do so? I think this song is missing alot of extra puff. Its slow, so at 4:00 it almost feels like a radio edit and it's a shame. With that off my chest; I have to admit that it's intro is quite compelling and the song's overall structure almost had me starting to feel it was longer. Almost; but not as effective as SCP and GGM s did it earlier. The first thing I notice, is that Norma sounds great. Her accent is ever present and gives her a total different tone from all other female vocalists. This I enjoy Alot. Now; For all the slack I gave the song earlier about being short, I will now explain why I feel it went the best rout with it's short legnth. first; It's slower bpms, we can hear that, but it's aslo very aishu style so you can give the song multiple playback without becomming bored of it's airy trans like atmosphere. In other words; it's short legnth, makes it tolerable for me, since I'm not really a big fan of it's soundworlds. It's short enough where I can just get lost in Norma's vocals and the extremely old school sounding riff and still feel I got a complete song.

11. Martina Dry - One Day (HRG Attack) 5:15
What I love about HRG Attack is that thier songs are amost always 5:00 and up. I never feel jipped or as if the label held back. This song is great. I enjoy it more with each listen, but I agree that its the weakest of the three. HRG Attack is always high level Eurobeat for me so using the word weak only pertains in comparison to the other two entries on this cd. The best part of the song is surely its synth riff. It's from the agressive side. It instantly reminded me of Louise - Hey hey Dark Of My Heart. It's a chaotic sounding riff. There are a few keyboards going on at the same TIME or so it sounds like it. Maybe it's me, but this song sounds like it would have sounded better vocally, with just a tad more hype injected into her vocals. As is stands it sounds like it wants to give a mature vibe , but with it's chaotic synths maybe sounds a bit confusing in style. The break is gold and That vocal effect she usues during that break would have fit the overall song better. Just saying, but it's still a great song.

12. Dave Rodgers - Money Money Money (Sun Fire) 4:11
This is one song that needed to be longer. No excuses this TIME. It's so awesome and gets the life drained out at such short legnth. You know which song came to mind? "100" short ass tease when it first appeared on SEB, but later on Inital D it finally became boss. It's like those cute little creatures in pikachu sreies that finally become powerful when they fight. Like that. This new Dave song is in remittance untill it will finally be tranformed into a phoenix. Untill then; I feel I'm in waiting for something better.I'm still giving the song a nine. So you can imagine what I give it with just a little more imagination that could be added in one more minuet?

13. Futura - Gimmi Gimmi Gimmi (Sun Fire) 4:02
This is my prefered female sung song on this cd. I'll take a bullet for it no matter what anyone says. It fits Futura's style so perfectly. She has the hype needed to pull off its fast paced chorus and the whoa whoas inbetween. At 4:00 mins it felt like a preview, so I immediately extended. I hardly ever listen to the SEB version anymore. It doesn't exsist for me anymore. It isn't completely absymal, since it has all the ingredients that make me like the song to begin with, but just like with the Walking Dead series, I need more! This song had to be extended to listen to more of Futura's golden chorus delivery. The effects after every line just add to the power of her delivery and she compliments that super catchy synth riff. It's played fast and sounds very reminecent of Dall Ora style from TIME. I envision these composers playing the keyboards at that speed and it just awes me to the extent of nothing else. before anyone says anything; I know they aren't actually played at that speed, but it gives me an even more epic vision of the Eurobeat producers and this synth riff from "Gimmi Gimmi Gimmi" just what I have been waiting for her to sing along to. Fav part. The last bridge when the music drops. reminded me of that Za- Za song's intro way back when. Everything up to its outro is bullside for me.
10++++
14. Leo River - Far From The Light (GGms) 4:04
Is this guy the same one who sings Kaioh's songs? He doesn't strike me as the same singer who sang "Runaway"? Anyway; as of now, I,m not really sold on to this song. The intro is not really pulling me in nor are his vocals. The synth riff is not really breaking ground for SCP/GGMs label. The melody in the verses and bridge is boarderline interesting and the chorus is kind a dull. The problem for me is that this song feels like it goes by to quick. It's not its legnth. It's short, but I know what GGms can now do with 4:00 when they set thier heart to it, so no more excuses. It's the songs over all structure. Is it a hybrid of Eurobeat Trance or something? Funny thing is; I really liked "Just say Yeah" which some would argue even gives off a more Transy feel. So I listened to "Run Away"; my favourite Leo River song, and it sounds worlds away for this "Far From The Light". Even with multiple replays; I just don't feel his new song. It's pointless to try and force something out of a song that just doesn't deliver for me.

15. Fastway - Been A Bang (SCP) 4:12
What a world of difference. Almost from the first note; this song is pulling me in 10x more than the previous one did. A cool build up style intro and Fastway, is an established favourite of mine. The only thing that can really ruin a Fastway song is rapping from DJ Boss. This song kicks int into 6th gear and I really needed that after a much not needed cool down I got a few mins ago. Fastway sounds a bit more agresso than usual, but I like that. Also the melody is right in standards with older style Fastway. It's short and it sounds short. Perhaps this is the only draw back I get for the song, since SCP couldn't fool me into thinking it was longer like they did with Pamsy, but that's ok, cuz Fastway's raspy style delivey more than makes up for it. That and the chorus is classic SCP. Great way to end the cd. With a Bang. I'm also hopeing an extended surfaces someTIME in the future.
9-/10
I agree with most that this is a better entry for a new year. The biggest surprise for me was how two 4:00 songs fol me into thinking they are extendeds and sound amazingly like well rounded and complete works too. That's the pure highlight for me on the cd. That and the arrival of a new HRG Attack vocalists. For a slim sec I thought maybe the return of Gianni (Ken Laszlo)Corrainni but that's ok since I see he actually does have new material in the Italo world of ItaLOVE. Futura has suddenly shone like a star and I hope she continues with the super fast paced songs. They are meant for her. DELTA is great, but I know they can pull out some 10s when they want to and Typsy & Typsy should retire that name indefinately. Bring back Milk and Coffee, the Flippers, Blue Roses, but that name needs a much needed hiatus. Other than that; I see a very clear future for SEBs 2014 year.

10++++
