i think Roby did allright on some of the earlier Romantic vibe songs like "I Need Your Love", "Try" and "All The Day" if you can call those romantic

I think His voice blended in very well with the songs, because it brought
a nice Italo feeling into them...
HI-NRG Attack sounded a lot different 96-97 when these songs was made...
Back then the songs had a more romantic feeling to them!

I agree that Corraini sounded great on the songs that he sang. Master Mind, Gimmi A Chance and Rocket In My Pocket were produced with him in mind and don't think they would have sounded as effevtive otherwise but I will admit that I could never get used to thinking of him as Franz Tornado on "Tornado Superchild"

I do miss Roby on HRG. He just doesn't sound the same on Saifam. Except that song "Allright" that one fooled me into thinking he was back at Live Music.

Something isn't clicking there. Couldn't both of them have handled some of the slower, more romantic-type stuff while Rimonti and other more "aggro-voiced" singers take the more energetic fare?

I'm sorry, I missed this question. I'm not sure that it's Gabrielli. The voice indeed sounds different from Mister Max - Bad Boy. But if it's not him, I wouldn't know who it is then.

So tru, but remeber that Andrea Girbaudo also composes at HRG Attack, so maybe he is helping to write songs in the style he wants to sing. Some of them are also a little more agressive than Corraini, like Riki 1 songs.

Actually, Riki 1 isn't Andrea. He may have simply lost interest in that job eventually, but considering that his partner-in-crime is more active as a vocalist than anyone else at Hi-NRG Attack, I suspect he might've also given it a shot.

I think you are reaching there? I doubt Accantino has ever taken the mic? Most of those songs you mention also carry Andrea in the writing credits. He usually does the vocals when involed in credits(Except female songs) You notice his name appears on those songs that have a Claudio Magnani vibe in vocals, but something tells you it's definately not him. I've tried slowing down some euromach track from those artists like Ted Candela and such ..and the vocalist does kinda sound like Rick Castle, Maybe add some overlaping Magnani effects in the backround. Who knows for sure, but I doubt Accantino. It would be nice to know for sure.I have an idea,

Rick Castle's only other alias is Starkly Ice, Riki1 etc are all another person (#Infinity grouped them correctly)

Not totally against the idea. You know it would be great, right? I just think that being such big news for a famouse composer to take the mic, don't you think it would have leaked out by now among the Eurobeat community? Just a speculation . For instance if Laurent or Sergio Dall Ora were to give it a shot at the mic; it would be all over the forums.

I asked Nick Festari about Riki 1/Harry Ken/etc. last year, and all he told me was that all those aliases were indeed one specific person.
He didn't reveal his name though, and I think he would have if it really had been Accatino.
Regarding singing producers... Well, some people aren't really made for singing.

I don't get why the EB labels are so protective of real singers' names o_O It's not as if many people beyond these boards are ever really going to know (if it's keeping the aliases' use of same singers a protected secret they're concerned about).

I thought they sounded good, especially the vocalist of Queen Of The Night. He sounded very different than other well known singers, but still had a macho -aggressive tone ,much like Gino Caria. but that's the main reason why the song is one of my favorites from Vibration era.... And the "Real" Max Coveri(as you call him) had a really heavy Italo vibe in his voice; which was perfect for the songs he sang. I actually perfer heavy Italo Accents in Male vocalist, so at least to me they sounded good. i really can't think of any Italo vocalist that sounds bad, maybe Enio when he raps
