Bumpity- bump bump! How's everyone's projects so far?

I'm doing well... I've finished one of my tracks and am working on the next. Hopefully I can work out a couple more after that in case the song selection is running a little low. I've got a lot of projects stuck at about 50% so this compilation is a good motivator for me. As I'm doing remixes for the most part I'm trying to get some people to lend their hands in helping with recording new vocals so instead it's a cover rather than a remix.

I've also talked to a few other people that make eurobeat that don't quite frequent these forums in an attempt to get more people into the project. Hey, maybe we can get Newfield to record a quick track for this compilation to outshine us all. :P

Oh, and if anyone feels like they've got a good track down but their synth hook is a bit lacking I'd be willing to record one for them to put into their track. If I recall right I did that for someone's song at one point but the project never quite got off the ground...

Lyrics are completed, melodic progression is still being worked on. I'll get a vocalist as soon as that's finished.

remixes would probably be fine as long as its a free download.. dont think you could get away with em on itunes though

I'd like to add a comment here about "Extendeds vs. SEB-sized" for this compilation.

You're free to submit either, seeing as you own the copyright to the song. However, if you plan on selling your extended-version song elsewhere, I recommend sending in an "edit-sized" version to this compilation, otherwise people could just extract your song from this podcast. They'd be hard-pressed to do it, but that doesn't stop everyone.
If you think the podcast would be better off with every glorious second of the song, then we'd be glad to use the whole thing. Even then, you're still free to sell the song.

Cool, I was starting to worry about not getting my track finished, but this will help!

P.S. how are the vocals coming along? ;)

Sounds great to me! An extra week makes it a lot more likely that I'll be able to get my vocalist to be able to record the song with me. My upcoming 4-day weekend could hopefully turn out to be a great opportunity to do so.

Same. Finished one, but wasn't sure if #2 would get done in time.

My track is finally taking shape after some amazing vocal work from.... well, I'm not going to reveal all on here, you'll have to wait and hear!

I have more or less up to the second verse done (just some EQ levelling and mastering needed on the chorus) but I'll definitely have a full track completed for next weekend.

Just need to come up with a suitable alias for my vocalist... that should be fun! :P
