Also, I have a feeling people are listing aliases that have been inactive and are not necessarily dead now...

One hit wonder, hmm?
I WANT MORE LOLIBETH SONGS.
uhm, Lilibeth.
She hasn't stopped singing at all (at least as far as I know). She just quit eurobeat? : (
And Ditzy, there aren't a lot confirmed dead people, right? ._.

I think people tend to grossly over-use "death" of Eurobeat singers in terms of why we no longer hear from them. I mean, I know Gino Caria died, may he rest in peace, but does his death have to mean that every other Eurobeat singer dies as well?

I mean, Annerley Gordon left the scene for ages and came back years later, so surely that means the same could happen for other singers?
Unless you hear it straight from the mouth of a producer, I really wouldn't jump to any conclusions about singers.
Personally, I guess Karen just got tired of EB and moved on. She really was given some rather crap songs in the latter days of her EB stuff, anyway. I'd have moved on too if that was all the material they could come up with!

A lot of SCP artists (Lilibeth, Momo, Damon, etc) are one time acts or such. The singer comes in for a demo that Avex listens to and puts it out there and sees what happens. A lot of times, the label is held back by Avex on releasing new projects. Often times, Avex's requests the artists or projects. I'm sure as you've realized it, they ask for a lot of Dave Rodgers, Domino, Go 2, etc. If you haven't heard your favorite artist in a while, chances are either a) Avex didn't request any projects from them or b) the artist just did a demo for the label and that's it or c) the artist has decided to do other projects.

That's one of the reasons I love HRG Attack. There are not too many singers and they pretty much all get thier chance to shine.

This is so true, aside from the King of Eurobeat(his legend lives on) ,noone elese has passed away. This sounds more like a topic we would be having about professional wrestlers of the 80's(may they all R.I.P.)
BTW anyone ever happen to know what happened to David Ropa. He was SCP one hit wonder?

Well he had two tracks released, Kite - ALways On My Mind on EM 14 and Stormy Night and one unreleased track called Flash Desire so you can blame Avex for that 3rd track never being released

Another unidentified one-hit flash-in-the-pan: Pink Star - Only When I Dance on A Beat C. So sad, we'll never know her name. "Lost in your eyes, I'm lost in your eyes", lost forever, that is.

Pink Star also had two unreleased tracks as well, Pink Star - I Wanna Be Your Love and Pink Star - Sweet Fire. Maybe Only When I Dance didn't do well enough so they decided not to reuse that artist.

Glad to hear we're following what the thread has said already.
