MAKO - MAD DESIRE

Mako!!! :!:

*blasts "In The Night In The Fire"* :P
* Joins in * I don't know why ditz and I are the only people who truly got into that piece. No other song has ever been produced in its offbeat, pseudo-drum 'n bass style, but it's really infectious.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Mad Desire is an older track. Andrea Leonardi's catalogue lists it as being from 2004. If that's the case, I'd expect it to have that slower, thinner, techno-influenced production style that dominated the 2000's, as opposed to the more aggressive late-90's renaissance of today.

Megan sounds great. Loving the synth riff. Not too crazy about the cover art. probly the first TIME the art doesn't appeal to me, but the vocals sound great.

The one that blows me away is Mako's new song. Mad Desire . I don't hear any techno influence. The sound does have a bit of early 200's vibe to it, but without the hyped vocals, so that's a good combination. Bonini actually sounds great in that song preview. The chorus is catchy as hell and the cover art is more to my style of Eurobeat.

Eitherway, I hope Sinclaire posts both cover arts to both songs just to have them.

When I saw "The winner is me" as the title, I had a been feeling that the song would "Heh..." and sure enough. Not my style.

However, "Mad Desire" sounds pretty good.

eXtaticus wrote:So we've had "Bad Desire" and "Mad Desire".

If Dr. Seuss was involved in the Super Eurobeat series, we'd probably also see "Sad Desire", "Glad Desire", et cetera...
I'm pretty sure it's just a Fad Desire

Megan song sounds cool, reminds me of a Vibration production. Didn't care for what I heard of Mad Desire. There melody was bad and that synthline was more reminiscent of Hyper Techno

The lack of Elena G. is alarming. I is sad.

Out of the previews the only ones that aroused my interest were Hotblade, Pamsy, Mako, Leslie Parrish and Leo River.

Aww, I had really hoped for that new Manuel track that he previewed on Facebook. Sadly none of these tracks reach its promise upon first listen, but I'll need to wait and see what the full versions bring as quite often these chorus and hook samples miss out some delicious verse/bridges ;)

The Winner Is Me is the only song I'm really looking forward to :/ This'll give me more time to catch up with the past 30 albums that I haven't really listened to x_x

Finally after 5+ years, a new Leslie Parrish track that sounds downright awesome. Also looking forward to hearing Hotblade, Oceania, Rich Hard, David Dima and Leo River even if none of these samples actually gave me the initial impression that they'll be better than their tracks on 226/227
