Not a huge fan of Black UFO. This whole album looks pretty unimpressive. Of course, I suppose I can't say much about that until I hear it.

8) lloks like HRG Attack gave thier male artists a rest. instead we get two girls comming out of retirement. Lou Lou Marina and Baby Gold. I'm wondering what ever happened to Lady Energy, Max & Kaori(Remember thier story)and Laslie Hammond. Well at least there is a great Jeff Driller song comming soon called "Russian Girl".
This trax list looks very promising!! :D

Ok now that makes much more sense. I FINALLY got SEB 165 in the mail yesterday and was VERY confused as to why that song was on the album. I shrugged it off as "Queen 26" syndrome ;P

The samples of Shock Out, Domino, and Black U.F.O. are up.

Shock Out sounds like a mix of King'O Kingo Beat mixed with Hyper Techno. It's an interesting song. Domino and Black U.F.O. many people have heard already but I'll say that Black U.F.O. is one of the best songs released by 3B. Not since Like A Fire has there been a song that really made me look at them with such awe.

My God, SCP is on an incredible roll.

Shock Out is impressing me ALMOST as much as Tokyo Lights did, just from a 30 second clip. It almost seems like they're really developing a style similar to what was used in 1 2 3 4 Fire, and emphasizing a mid-90s Eurodance (Corona, LaBouche, that type of music) type Bass Progression behind it.

It's already my favorite track of the 160s.

Yeah, Shock Out's pretty impressive... though, I think it sounds more like Ennio's 'Dusty' persona... but whatever, Ennio is Ennio.... and it's good.

Interesting and different lyrical structure, but nothing revolutionary, though, IMO.

Almost sounds like it should've been a Go2 song... but the line between a pure Ennio song and a Go2 song is pretty thin to begin with.

As close in styles as Ennio's solo songs and Go2 songs are, I've tried to imagine what Ace songs would sound like with Ennio singing them, and what Fastway/Dusty songs would sound like with Christian singing them, and it just doesn't really work for me. I think the big difference is the higher concentration of "Spoken Word" parts in Go2 songs as they play off of each other. Not to mention Ennio's more raw sounding voice as opposed to Christian's more "projected" (the only word I can think of to describe it) voice...

I almost think at this point that Ennio is phasing out his Dusty nickname due to the success of Go2....

8) I too prefer Dusty's vocals over Ace. and he sounds good in normal voice as in "It's My Life" 8) Come to think of it I very much admire Christan's voice in "Moon Child" too.
What I really wish that Fastway would sound more like he used to in "Number One" Which I doubt was him at all. :o

Woah.. Shock Out gave me goosebumps.. can't wait till i hear the full song.
Maybe 166 will be a suprisingly good SEB after all, the tracklist didn't look impressive at first, but with DR, Fastway, Lupin, Neo, Alvin on board, what can go wrong?!?

And yeah Shock Out is bit more Dustys-style than Fastways, but like Cosmic_Bard said, Ennio is Ennio :)

Humm
On shock Out there is something that bothers me. I don't know the music doesn't sound really in tune sometime. Is that a demo?

This is the problem I have as well - does no-one else hear that the synths especially during the vocal parts sound quite flat? It's perhaps just the quality of the samples, but having said that Black U.F.O. and Domino sound fine...

Back U.F.O. is the best Saifam Eurobeat song to appear on SEB so far (in fact, it's one of their best ever Eurobeat tracks :D)

From what I heard from that clip of Shock Out I'm really not liking it which makes me very sad since I'm SCP's bitch  .

Hope I like it better when I hear from the CD.

To my surprise, both Kelly T. and Mel Rose are A-Beat C's new artists and
Candy Taylor - Destiny is Newfield production. I wonder when he produced it.lol Anyways, it's really awesome.

I'm loving Kelly T., and wonders will never cease - Cherry has actually put out a song that I like!

The new Fastway track will take a bit of getting used to I think - the vocal melody is a bit too off-the-wall for me at the mo - but I stand by my original thought. The Saifam tracks (especially Black UFO) are the stars of this album.
