The pitching thing is very individual. Sometimes you love, sometimes not. The worst part is that the song tend to sound very childish and unreal. But sometimes it really fit. Hi-nrg attack i definitly one the labels who have the ability and feeling to get high-pitchsong to fit in the song.jeurobeat wrote:A question: what do you think of high pitched vocals? For example, almost all female Hi NRG Attack vocals sound extremely pitched. The latest Cindy song is good in my opinion - at least after slowing down by at least 12%. It's far too slow then, but at least the female vocalist sounds normal and nice.
Another example: Fernando Bonini seems to be singing higher and higher each time. His latest Mako is great - but it is very difficult to hear that it is the same vocalist as Tommy K - You Need A Lover or Maio&Co - Feel The Groove. He had a relaxed, cool voice in the past. I understand that his image is aggressive now, but why so high?

male vocals do not really work well too high pitched, but one vocalist who's voice doesn't change too much when high pitched is G. Corrianni(Ken Laslo) He still spounds almost the same. Claudio Magnani also has changed from say TIMEs "Lady Bug" to Tam Arrow's songs for instance, but he doesn't lose his distinct tone of voice.Mako on the other hand, doen't work at all too high pitched. He sounds kinda like girly. Di Marcantonio can vary his vocals. and it doesn't sound bad. He can sound like Robert Patton on "Love Is Free" or Robert Patton on "Rock In Japan" and his vocal range is not annoying
