Yes, but there are people that have been talking about the 13 new tracks since the tracklist was revealed as well. :)

Hopefully they'll do an Wait For You and release the other version of Don't Turn It Off on either a Super GT album or something.

I'm actually glad ditz posted the samples, since it's probly the only review I'll be doing. Here goes nothing.
(based on samples)

01 SUPER EUROBEAT / NIKO (SinclaireStyle)
This is actually the side of Bratt that I've been missing for a long TIME. He has found his nich in the audio settings and the differences are immense between thios song and the now forgotten "Let's Get Wild" even Niko sounds more powerful and actually interested to sing. The melody is very up to par with a SEB anthem. So far all sytems go.

02 DON'T TURN IT OFF (ENERGIZE EXTENDED MIX) / GO 2 (SCP)
I don't know about this other version you guys talk about, but the less techno the better. The song sounds 100% Eurobeat and that's all that matters. A good fast song with a kicking riff to go along.

03 THE CHAMPION / LUKE (Delta)
So far my favorite sample. DELTA gots some great soundworlds going on this song. The riff is very "Spacyish" Another anthem driven song from Mr. "Turbo Disco Stormtrooper" :P :D

04 LOVE COUNTDOWN / FASTWAY (SCP)
Damn another great SCP entry. Lately I have really enjoying thier songs. Just from the chorus along, I know I would have really liked this song in extended :( It has a classic Eurobeat melody and from the taste of that riff it sounds like it could be a favourite from this cd.

05 FIRE DRAGON / DAVE RODGERS feat. PATRICK RONDAT (A-Beat C)
The bpms go slightly down and actually this sample kinda has that ABeatC rehash feel from the 90s-120s SEB era. Not a bad chorus, but needs a bit more imagination.
:)

24 KING OF THE RACE / POWERFUL T. feat. ALEX DE ROSSO (A-Beat C)
This is probly Powerful T's best entry since Glorious. At least for me it is. A lot more slower in BPMs, but from the melody and fast riff, this also sounds like a chartbuster.

25 A FLASH IN THE NIGHT / DAVID DIMA (Dima)
I agree with #infinty and have to say that is another boinafide hit for Dima. It has that Dima epic feel in the chorus and Dee Dee himself sounds really good. Vocally ,he is singing in a lower octave like he did in Do You Think I'm Super Sexy and Go Go Ferrari. The title sounds really great as it's being sung, the only downfall is that I'll probly never hear that riff :(

26 DON'T LET ME GO / LEO RIVER (Go-Go's Music)
Another label that is really surprising me nowadays is GGMs. Again, we get no riff, but that chorus has so much going on that it's surely to be a favourite. Love the inserted "Gos"!

27 LOVED IN TOKYO / MAX ZERO (Dima)
It's definately Mega NRG Man. The question is ,is this ABeatC or GGMs? Nevertheless, the chorus sounds really promising. The soundworlds do sound a bit like Dima style, especially in the synths, but Thomas at Dima studios? I guess anything is possible in Eurobeat?

28 IVANHOE (THE FACTORY TEAM EUROBEAT MIX) / ALPHATOWN (Asia)
this has been out for someTIME now and has grown on me conciderably, especially the Italo sounding riff. The slight downfall would be the way the notes are prolonged in the Ivanhoe chorus. It sounds like he sing Ivan Ho Ho :P
:)

29 I FEEL LIKE A MOLOTOV / MAD COW (Hi-NRG Attack)
A good sounding HRG Attack entry, but a bit too rehashed. There is also no Russian vibe in the melody even though the soung title cleary sounds like it should have.
:)

30 KING OF EUROBEAT / JORDAN (Eurogrooves)
This is clearly Giordano, not only by the funny pun artist name. Get it Giordano= Jordan, but also by the musical style and soundworlds. The "Eurobeat" chant sounds exactly like the "Iron Man" chant. I really hope this one appears on extended elseware or else I'll have to consult a higher power. The riff sounds like the one Anika song "Touch Me To Much" which was actually a collaboration between Dall Ora and Caria with Clara on vocals. Good song with an even better break.

This would have been an even better cd in extended fashion. There is no doubt about it. There isn't one bad song in the whole lot.
My contribution to this cd will probly be making vinyl sleeves for all the songs to keep with the tradition. The titles are just too good. 8)

the_ditz wrote:Okay seriously, can people stop bringing the conversation back round to this? I thought the samples would actually spark some actual discussion about the release itself, but it seems I was wrong...
The only people applying those electrodes and trying to spark the dispute back to life are Dr. Phil and his companions. I conceded numerous pages ago for multiple reasons, and all I'm trying to do now is defend against their needless post-dispute sarcasm and caricature (not just here, but in other threads too); seemingly, the only trick they have left is to attack some extraordinary position we haven't even adopted! I was always open to an intelligible debate without the pig-headedness, but all this has demonstrated is ruling out the possibility of a future debate here on other important and contentious matters. A shame, really.

Anyway, I've already mentioned my thoughts on the album; the samples are really hot, and it's a shame it'll be near impossible to hear them in extended format. 'A Flash in the Night', 'Don't Turn It Off' and 'King of Eurobeat' would have to be my favourites. And I fail to understand the hype behind Leo River, but then again GGM haven't been too crash hot for me lately.

Wow, the only tracks I liked based off the samples were Don't Turn It Off and Fire Dragon. The rest just seem to lack energy.

Pirates have already gotten their hands on extends so maybe there is a place other than mora which offers extends of eurobeats ? They could also have network in Japan who helped them purchase, I don't know, Let's just wait and see for now.

I got my CD today (I'm still like O_O ). I've pre-ordered the CD way before the tracklist became available but don't start to think that I was lying on my opinion. I will give the CD a listen or two in the car today (damn... I still want to listen to my home-made B'z CD XD )

[OFF-TOPIC] OMG K-On! ED song is so awesome! And, I received the single along! [/OFF-TOPIC]

EDIT

My CD was sent with Air Mail, so this means that they shipped it like, not yesterday (like the e-mail) but last Tuesday/Wednesday. Wow... That happened to me once before.

EDIT 2

Booklet has artist messages!!

Also, Max Zero is Dima and the vocal are... Tomas Marin (aka Mega NRG Man). We have a triple active label man XD

Its really not hard to recognize his vocals instantly, and I wonder how he is able to sing for 3 labels at once ... wow ... :o

3 labels? Yes. A-Beat-C, Go Go's Music and now, Dima.
