Porno Star isn't completely new in the scene. He (she or they, as I don't know who it is) has made a few other remixes as well. Check out discogs. :')!

And I'm patiently waiting for my SEB to arrive. *_*!

I'm gonna hear the songs a few more TIMES before doing any review, because, basiaclly I'm not too thrilled. The TIME songs sound great ,but not amazing, so that should tell you a lot right there and then. No potrential 10/10. maybe some 8's and a few 9's :|

Really? I thought these TIME releases were some of the best I've heard in the 180's so far (especially 'Another Passion'). Far far better than their performance during 184 and 185, which mostly disappointed me.

I have to agree with Jay here. Love & Passion 2008 is also the best remake to disembark from the never-ending Time remake train in a long time! ;)

This. You would think that without the Italian accent the lyrics would be perfectly understandable, but it honestly sounds like she whispered the whole song into the microphone and had the volume upped.

Don't get me wrong. I said they sounded great , not Amazing. Amazing would be Heartbreaker 2008, Palnet Love, Night Fighter. What I love about about Another Passion is the chorus flows nicely to the melody of Maggie May's - Another Day. The arrangement is great and Elena sounds terrific. The Euroodance effects also sound right on target on that song. TIME used to incorpaorate many technoish effects in songs like Come Into My Arms , Animal Criminal and Give me The Night, So I have no problem with that iether. An Amazing Elena song for me would be Fever & Music or even Just A Game remake, wich grew on me BIG TIME.

My main concern is that since 9 out of 10 TIMES the TIME songs are immediate 10's for me. This round I didn't feel that way. In fact on this cd Leslie Parrish and Ciao Ciao are my stand outs, but still not solid 10s.

All in All, it isn't a bad cd, but I only listen to 8-9 songs. The only songs I really hated and it isn't even the music(Which is well arranged) are NiteShade and I Love My Dog. On Niteshade I can't understand a damn thing she is singing(week vocals) and I wish I didn't understand "I Love My Dog"(Silly lyrics)

These are the songs I find myself replaying often. Not even enuff for a top 10 and I allready played Farina to death.

BANG BANG CRASHING OF THE BOOM BOOM/ CIAO
BIG BAD AND HOT LOVE/ LESLIE PARRISH
ADRENALINE/ MANUEL
TOKYO STRIKE FORCE/ NICK TURBO
LOVE & PASSION 2008/ VANESSA
ANOTHER PASSION/ LINDA
REBEL YELL/ CHERRY
RUNNING FIRE/ ACE

I post a full review once I feel enuff excitment to pump me up 8)

So I finally mustered up enuff excitement to do a review. The good thing is that I've grown to like the songs that origianlly caught my interest even more. While the other songs just annoyed me more & more. Here we go!

1. Niko- Let's Go Wild. The cd strats off with the first new song from Bratt Sinclaire's Sinclaire Style label. Was all the hype worth the wait? Some agree and some say he is just getting the feel again. I agree with the second half. What I noticed is that the song needs a lot more soundworlds. The overall arrangement has the same vibe as previous Sinclaire productions, but somthing is missing. To me it sounded as if Maurizio possibly took a longer break from Eurobeat than expected. I hear it in the lack of umph in his vocals. Still ;that is not the main problem. I also notice the song itself lacks power just as well. The ingredient I did enjoy was the fierce syths during the verses, but overall the song was so-so for me.
7-/10

2. Melody & Mezzo- Niteshade. This song also sparked up quite a bit of controversary as to why it was included on SEB series. Upon hearing the final cut, I notice the production value and most of all DELTA's soundworlds really pushed this song to a higher level for me.The intro reminds me of HRG Attack's Russian themed songs; which is a good start. The riff is also mega wicked, but it goes wrong once the vocals kick in. I was never a fan of the original and like I mentioned many a TIME, the vocals are just too weak for my liking. I strongly believe the song would have been much more effective if it was rerecorded with Clara or another DELTA x female vocals. Sara May would have sounded cuter for me. Better yet ,the song would kick serious butt ,had it been an instrumental. What I do like is that whole middle break; or what ever you wanna call it and of course the outro sounds amazing. Notice those are instrumental parts.
7/10(for soudworlds only)

3. Nick Turbo- Tokyo Strike Force. Finally we get a Nick on SEB under his name. It was a smart decision to wait for this song, because it is really is a perfect vehicle for his vocals. The first thing that stands out is that killer intro. Sirens in Eurobeat should be a must! Remeber "Danger"? It's those sirens that build up to a wickedly and fast riff. Live Music wrote a really great combination of vocals and music during the verses. The breaks inbetween the lyrics give the song all the more power and the bridge as allways builds up to the perfect chorus for the song. The added female vocals and guitar tricks add even more excitement to the track. Everything seems to be a perfect musical composition, except the fact that it's a bit too short and is missing their trademark mini break in the middle of the song. For that reason it doesn't reach 10/10 status.
9/10

4. Manuel- Adrenaline. What an awesome intro. Great intros are a must for the Dr. It guarantees a song 8+ status. Latley I have been liking Manuel's vocals a lot more. Especaislly when he uses them in a more raspy octave than his normal high pitched, which I really don't like. He really sounds great on this round and a lot better than his previous entries. The best part would be the instrumental and vocal compostion of that third verse. Frickin sweet! Dropping the synths and resorting to raw guitars on the verse then dropping the vocals and just playing the synths and ooohs oohs in the bridge sound simply ingenious. He does resort his high vocals in that last chrous, but when he screams it just sounds so epic that it's hard not to feel the adrenaline pumping through your own viens! Definately one to grow on you.
9/10

5. Linda- Another Passion. For those of you who follow TIME songs closely ,you will notice the scrathy intro much like in Eternal Symphony. A good sign in creativity and gives it the classic Vinyl effect :D I feel this song to give me the same effect as Just A Game 2008. Which means ,it has grown on me conciderably since the first TIME I heard it. The chorus sounds a bit like Maggie May- Another Day and the Riff sounds totally new .At least to me. Kinda like a Just A Game 2008 played backwards or somthing, but works right on target. The last chorus with dropped instruments sounds like perfect Elena style. All in all a great song that with TIME will eventually become AMAZING!
9/10

6. Brian Ice. TIME To Say Goodby. Spoken intros are also a welcome for me. Here he sounds normal as opposed to Everyday, where he sounded kinda childish. This is a clear example of how the AVEX preview didn't do the song justice. I probly like this song much more than most of you, but it's basically beacuse Fabrizzio sounds great. You can really hear the similarities in his vocals in this song to his older Memory records like Over Again or Talking to the Night.. The chorus is the only part that lacks imagination, but I did enjoy the riff quite a bit. Even the ubrupt outro kinda does it justice. Once again the melody in the verses and bridge are my favorite part.
9-/10

7. Stella- Round & Round. SCP is here with thier first entry. The first thing I feel is that it has a rather ugly intro. When I hear these x transy Pamsy songs ,I try to compare them to Mellisa White's- "Stary Sky" and I wonder why I liked that song so much, but none of these other ones. This song flows by like some heaven carpet ride, but I'd rather be on a rollor coaster ride set on fire, so it did absolutly nothing for me, save the last mini bridge and half a point for the somewhat catchy chorus. I hope no more of this from SCP. Please1
6-/10

8. Ace- Running Fire. I'm still enjoying "What Hot Love". Shooting it as much as hearing it.LOL! First things first. WTF with that intro? Nothing to do in the song at all. Lay off the Earth world themes! That said, the song burst into a mega intense riff that catches the listener quite by surprise. Ace Warrior songs are good, but I notice that the melodies he is given for the verses and bridge are rather week compared to the catchy choruses they usually have. All in all, I'm quite torn by those two reasons and given a proper intro would have made this song much more enjoyable. Infact, I think I'll put it through the Dr. NRG remix machine and ommit it completly. Best part is how the first lines in the chorus are NOT "Running Fire", but instead "Turning my Life around". Now if they could only turn those Intros around. Play them backwards or somthing, but give them some "umph".
7+/10

9. Ciao Ciao- Bang Bang Crashing Of The Boom. Unlike most of you, I LOVE this F**KING title. It screams HRG Attack power! What I love is that most Ciao Ciao songs follow a similiar melody and by just changing a few notes around gives the riff a whole new identity. The female vocalist, for Ciao Ciao ;Whoever she may be(too lazy too look), has a strong Italian accent and since I go crazy for those makes this one of my favorite five of the cd. The HRG Attack power oozes from end to another and never lets up. It uses simple ,but effective melodies in the verse and and bridge but fuses perfectly with the chorus. The best part is how it adds on those extra few synth notes right after each Boom Boom line. That is HRG Attack classic status.
9+/10

10. Ace- In The Fire Of Victory. SCP back in mode again. What A cool intro. I'm loving that riff alot, but now...oh oh, that melody in the verse and bridge are kinda disturbing. They do not fuse with the catchy chorus and give that "heavenly" feeling I do not like. You know what, this song reminds me of "Power Of Love". A song I really do not hold to classic status on my list. What pisses me off is how much I really enjoy the chorus and riff , but that the rest of the song sounds rather bland and uninteresting. I will give credit where credit is due...and that is the last part that builds up to the final chorus. That is some epic sounding SCP and really gives the Victory theme justice!. This song could also have the "Grow on me effect" I'll just have to wait and see.
8-/10

11.Vanessa- Love & Passion. Another song that is sparking some questions, especially towards me. Mainly about what I think about the eurodancy riff. I got no problem, In fact it reminds me of songs by Arena 69 and Gizzelle, especially "I'm Dreaming"? which I really don't concider it Eurodancy at all. The intro is buiding up the riff with the use of the sampled "Upside down line with synth effects injected here & there. This one is growing deep inside me with each listen. The classic Gypsy & Queen song is one of my favorites and this TIME around Mr. Dall Ora revamps it's melody to a perfect Eurobeat sound. Elena sounds like she did in Barbie, which is also a nice variation to her vocals. I keep wanting to hear Gambogi do the little "ahh" effect right before the synth riff, like was used in "I'm Dreaming", but I guess that's expecting too much :P Definatly one of my top trax on this cd, but not a bonafide bulls eye. I think the release of MEGA Heartbreaker 2007 has somewhat tainted my impression on other remakes and really caused me to raise the bar for them to become classic status for me?
9/10

12. Mega NRG Man- People Like Dancing. That intro had a Casanova- "Lost In The TIME" vibe, but only the first few notes. After that it went horrobly wrong. So AVEX is really pimping Mega NRG Man alot now a days. So much, that his songs have become Hit/Miss for me. This one id a definate miss. What's missing? How about some F**king NRG! The riff lacks power. His vocals lack NRG and the melody is basically bland giving me no desire to come back to this song. That outro sounds like someone just turned off the sound before the song actually eneded. I think I'll do the same.Sorry Mega NRG Man. No love this TIME.
6/10

13.Nuage- Hey Hey. Argh! More Normaesque intros. They work for her songs, but sadly not any others . To get right to the point, the riff sounds to happy for my style. Once again, I would rather have visions of Samurais fighting with swords than Sailor Moon jumping around with pom poms. It just doesn't work for me. The redeeming quality would be the bridge right after the verse. It seems to appear from a different song, but that chorus is all about puppys and kittens and baloons. Sorry, Not my cup of tea.
6/10

14. Bea- Paradise- Two tracks I partically don't care for ..and look at that; another kick in the balls from AVEX. Useless intro with even more usless riff. Is this a new vocalist? She sounds good, but is given a very souless song to sing. I wanted to like it, because new artists usually spark interest with me, but this song doesn't really do Bea justice and the fact that the riff goes on and on in the end didin't help things either.
6-/10

15. Leslie Parrish- Big Bad & Hot Love. Finally! Hell yeah. Hard in your face intro from DELTA. Love the guitars. Here is a perfect example of how a good Mellow/Powerful song should be made. I'm basing that on the fact that the melody in the verses and bridge is a bit softer(if you can call it that) to it's chorus and riff. This song has heavy vibes form previous Leslie Parrish songs, particularly her first ones. It will definatley grow on the listener, which will give it more status concidering that it is allready gripping you from it's initial first notes. Guitars and pianos allways do wonders for DELTA and here is no exception. Great allround sounding Eurobeat with many surprises injected here and there in the classic DELTA spirit!
9+/10

16. Mark Farina- Rock N Roll. Seems I have been listening to these song for months now. Here it is again. I'm lazy to write a full review on it, so I'll just say that it's a great vehicle to showcase Maurio's vocals. Sounds like he did in many Asia classic like Russian and Rock Of Love. The song is both Macho and fun and uses the guitars to perfectly push forward it's Rock N Roll theme. Welcome back Saifam and with a bullett!
9/10

17. Cherry- Rebell Yell. I was sceptical of this title whan I first saw it. I mean, I love Billy Idol's punk/rock classics as much as the next rocker, but I thought Cherry? "She's Allright" doesn't exactly scream Billy Idol to me. Then I heard the sample and it's immediate similarity to "Rain" and right away, I knew I would like it. The intro bursts into the chorus in a way that leaves the listener at the edge of his/her seat anticipating greatness and once the riff kicks in, all you can think is WICKED! fast, powerful and gripping-Grpping-GRIPPING! The vocals start and the classic lyrical composition immediatly starts to fall off the listeners toungue. One thing I remeber form the classic ,is that it was heavy on the synth sounds and DELTA capitalizes on that effect to the fullest degree. Just listen to that ending and tell me it didn't leave you gasping for air exactly as the original did!
9+/10

18. Vivi- I Love My Dog. I knew this song would eventually come up. Too much hype for something that barely deseves a bark. The lyrics are too disturbing and they mention candies and dogs and I think even my little pony :P So I hop on the carpet ride with Vivi and let her show me her heavenly world, but I was not impressed. I envisioned baloons and carousles and even Pikachu joined in. I think he was the dog in question? On the positive side. Viv's vocals suit this SCP style perfect and the musical compostion isn't half bad. Maybe different lyrics would have made it more enjoyable ,but for now it definatley needed a hard dose of NRG. BTW what is up with AVEX following Cherry's MEGA-INSANE- IN -YOUR FACE- ROLLOR -COASTER -DEATH -RIDE song with Viv's Puppy Dog and kittnes wearing socks with Donald Duck on one side and Micky Mouse on the other?(That's reference to Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses, for those of you who like horror flicks)
6-/10

Well an era has come to an end. This cd was not really how I expected it to end. There should have been way more powerful songs. I was hard on my grading system, beacuse I beleive half of the songs were not very good at all. The ones I did like ,I gave high 9s, but I didn't hear a 10. It could be ,beacuse of the mediocre company they had to share, but with each listen my favs are quickly becoming classic staus. Cheers to TIME,DELTA and HRG Attack,Saifam and Adrenaline, but the rest were missing that special touch that gives this Dr. the ULTIMATE high.

best songs:
Ciao Ciao
Leslie Parrish
Manuel
Cherry
Vanessa
Linda
Nick Turbo
Mark Farina

Honourable mention:
Brian Ice

I do have to admit that my hopes weren't too high for 186. And they were correct for once. I Love My Dog pwns and Yes I Will remix is the best remix we've had on any of the bonus discs but these aside the majority of the material just goes by kinda unnoticed. Only a few really bad songs but majority just... doesn't caught your ear.

Because some people actually use them =P. And I guess from a collector's stand point, having something missing takes away from the 'completeness' and overall value of the product. But for me the fuss is mainly the first point :P

~ REVIEWS COMPLETED ~

1. LET'S GO WILD! / NIKO: (9-)
Okay, it's been quite a while since the last Maurizio release (Farenheight Euronight on 163), but now that Sinclaire is back in action, we're finally treated with more new material from this suddenly-slow-working artist. But is it worth the wait? Well, Let's Go Wild ignites with a very interesting and explosive intro (props to the Music Go Wild sample - one of my favorite tracks of the 80's decade!), but then once it enters the main turf, it loses most of its punch due to the dry and light synth instruments, similarly to Farenheight. On the other hand, the track itself is still very spirited and has the same classic vibe of earlier Niko tracks (love the signature synth breakdowns during the verses) - very good lyrics and strong vocals make it a far better-rounded track than Farenheight Euronight. On whole though, while this song is a nice introduction of SinclaireStyle to Super Eurobeat, I get the impression that Mr. Sinclaire's production methods were a lot more powerful in the late 90's than they are now (though still better than the abomible 176 on A-Beat C). Catchy, but not the strongest opener we've had so far this decade.

2. NIGHTSHADE / MELODY & MEZZO: (9+)
I liked Bach Is Back a lot, so I was definitely looking forward to another classic revival, and Nightshade doesn't disappoint at all. The epic melodic progression of Hungarian Dance No. 5 marks the highlight of this track and really brings out both the beauty and energy that eurobeat can produce. I think the mellow vocals are a bit out-of-place and struggle a bit to keep up with the hardcore pace (granted, they were originally recorded for the slower trance version), but all-in-all, this is a very nice performance that I will definitely be keeping.

3. TOKYO STRIKE FORCE / NICK TURBO: (9½)
Raargh! Festari is back again with another super-crazy, energetic track that's sure to hype you up. The usual quality Hi-NRG Attack production elements are present as ever, but Tokyo Strike Force seems to be on even more crack than the excellent Crazy Race On The Street - Festari's gritty vocals work perfectly with the loud synths and punchy chorus. It really just all pops into place nicely, leaving you with a very solid, memorable HRG performance. Not quite the masterpiece that was Superfast Tokyo Drift, but pretty darn close. More like this please!

4. ADRENALINE / MANUEL: (9)
With the disappointing level thus far of the 180's from GGM, another floorfiller by Manuel is always a welcome addition to the lineup. Adrenaline is yet another race-inspired performance with macho vocals and fiercely powerful synths and beats. It's a pretty typical Manuel faire, but one that's above-average for that. It's very difficult to compete against the wonders of Gas Gas Gas, but this song still keeps the artist's flag raised proud and high.

5. ANOTHER PASSION / LINDA: (6)
Now that Time is left with only 2 tracks per release, Avex is left with even pickier decisions when it comes to selecting this label's appearances. Another Passion is a wasted move on their part, sadly. I knew I wouldn't care for this song at all as soon as I saw the song title, and I was right. This track is to Elena Ferretti as Spin Spin Baby was to Jeff Driller - it sounded fairly good at first, but it lost its replay value almost immediately afterwards. Everything about this track is just standard and non-offensive - plain vocals, plain sounds, plain lyrics, plain everything really. Nothing new or exciting, really not a track that I'd deem necessary for the compilation.

6. TIME TO SAY GOODBYE / BRIAN ICE: (6+)
Save Your Voice To Sing A Song was a surprise hit from Rizzolo back on 183, but as I expected, the high streak did not last long, similarly to when Matt Land made a strong comeback on 181 but then stabbed himself in the back with Bad Boys (though that's a rather extreme comparison). Time To Say Goodbye is just another boring A-Beat C pop faire that loses its value before you've even completed listening to the track. Brian Ice's vocals are nice enough, but that's all I'm giving credit to, as the song otherwise just drifts away subconsciously. Not enough spirit or energy put into this presentation, sorry. I'd take Doctor Beat's version over this one anyday.

7. ROUND ROUND ROUND / STELLA: (8½)
As I stated earlier, I really don't find SCP to be that appealing anymore as I did back during the early 170's. Their sound relies a bit too much on the trance side of things nowadays, and it's only every once in a while that will get something as creative or energetic as Once Upon A Time or Power. Round Round Round follows the current streak pretty normally, but it is on the better edge. The track is very mellow and soft, but it works pretty nicely thanks to the cute melody that supports it suitably. The newcomer's vocalwork is very strong, maybe not quite up there with Pamsy yet, but we'll see what happens when she opens up in the future. Anyway, Round Round Round isn't the strongest SCP release to date, but it still flows by smoothly - I ended up enjoying it quite a bit more than I was expecting tbh.

8. RUNNING FIRE / ACE WARRIOR: (6½)
The mediocre pace continues for A-Beat C with yet another very dull and uninteresting presentation. This track bored me before the vocals even jumped in. It's sad, because I could easily envision this song becoming a massive hit with a complete revamp, but GP's super-boring, super-generic production techniques once again just completely ruin the track, leaving it tired and depressed when it could've been hardcore and edged - it's really just not what what Ace Warrior is all about. The vocals feel disonant and out-of-place with the music, which is just empty and totally boring. What happened?

9. BANG BANG CRASHING OF THE BOOM BOOM / CIAO CIAO: (9½)
This is easily one of the better female tracks HRG has done so far during the 180's decade. Rather than going way beyond the limits of eurobeat, this track is very simple and straightforward, yet it still retains to that same punch and catchniness of anything else the label can push out. The chorus is a definite highlight of this track - it's really one of the wildest and strongest ones I've heard from them lately. Unfortunately, the vocalist sounds like she's yelling off-key during the progressing bridge, which gets on my nerves a bit every time, but otherwise she handles this one fairly well. Overall very nice! I'm definitely gonna keep it.

10. IN THE FIRE OF VICTORY / ACE: (9-)
Ace is one of those artists whose songs don't strike you as soon as you hear them, but steadily grow on you the more you hear them without losing their replay value. At first, this track struck me as just okay; I didn't have super-high expectations for it since it was only placed as track #10 as opposed to his 2 consecutive #1 slots during the 170's, so it was about as solid as I was hoping. Ace's vocals are the key player here, as the synth isn't tremendously exciting, but once I got more used to this soulful track, its pulsing strength finally opened to me further overtime. Overall, not nearly as impressive as Ace's fantastic 170's performances, but hey, it's nice to finally hear another non-Go 2 track out of his usual style.

11. LOVE AND PASSION 2008 / VANESSA: (10-)
I've never heard the original song before, but I was extremely surprised when I heard this remake, not originally having very high expectations for it. This is the perfect example of when Elena Ferretti's style works marvelously - it's just as soft-sided as anything else she might sing, but the lyrics and melodic progression are extremely catchy and happy. This motivated track just keeps me coming back for more - a perfect little package that finally displays the real talent of Ms. Ferretti. Even a regular ending, too!

12. PEOPLE LIKE DANCING / MEGA NRG MAN: (5-)
It's just sad what such a gifted man as Tomas Marin has finally come to. Back in the late 90's, he was one of the most powerful males to take eurobeat by force; now he's just a very tired and uninspired individual who just sings only for the heck of it and nothing else. And if Catch My Fire and Let It Go were disappointing enough, they don't even come close to the rock-bottomness of People Like Dancing. Intro aside (sounds like a good idea for a song of a different genre), this is one of the most faint, dull, and watery eurobeat productions I've ever heard. Marin's performance is alright, but nothing memorable. The synths just blow it though - their heavy trancy camoflauge just doesn't work or fit at all, and makes Marin sound like he's trying to party after 10 bottles of vodka. The outcome is a complete wreck, something so dull and boring I actually can't stand listening to it at all. If this is really supposed to represent A-Beat C now, then Pasquini needs to make improvements to his label fast or else just finally give in.

13. HEY HEY / NUAGE: (9-)
Fortunately, after a few major duds, A-Beat C finally makes a nice effort with Nuage's last track (shame that she probably won't be back). Hey Hey is a very happy-go-lucky performance - even with the dumbed-down synths (which at least fit this style far better than the previous track), the fun lyrical/melodic progression makes it a catchy little song, not up with Nuage's best, but still ending her career on a high mark.

14. PARADISE / BEA: (6+)
Yet even more filler by A-Beat C. I'm gonna be nice to this track, since it does have nice vocals and a good-hearted chorus, but putting that aside, it's plain boring. There's really just no spirit in this production - I bet even a very early Norma Sheffield track would outmatch this in its ability to stand out. It doesn't sound too bad on its own, but if you confront it against anything else from a different label, it just can't keep up. Cute, but tired and very bland. I'd say this is definitely a song I will be listening to a lot...when I'm 70 years old.

15. BIG BAD AND HOT LOVE / LESLIE PARRISH: (8½)
Well, this track feels like a complete breath of fresh air after the previous few tracks - finally we get some nice, hard synths and strong vocals! Matteo Rizzi is an excellent producer - the catchy synth hook marks the highlight of this track, making it really fun to dance to. I still don't like the chorus though - it just sounds so bland and unmemorable everytime I hear it and does no justice to everything else that fits in-place far better. Quality Delta as usual, just not up with the best.

16. ROCK 'N ROLL / MARK FARINA: (9½)
I really still can't believe that Saifam's back. In spirit of them, I've listed their newer songs as if they were still present during the 170's and early 180's on my iTunes library (Like A Speedy Car by Danny Rock, for example, is on 172 as originally announced), but now that it's a reality again, I'm can finally truly grasp everything that was missing from SEB throughout the past decade. Rock 'N Roll is really the perfect song to start off Saifam's official comeback - it's a pretty standard Mark Farina performance, but with everything you can expect from him and love. It's got a funky chord progression, flawless lyrics, and Farina's macho-aggressive vocals that sound great no matter what he sings. The chorus especially is sure to be stuck looping in your head for days - those hard strikes work really smoothly, and that thumping beat is sure to keep you moving without losing attention. Thank you Avex for bringing back one of the best eurobeat labels to ever show up on Super Eurobeat!

17. REBEL YELL / CHERRY: (6+)
Welcome Saifam Speed! This rating might appear surprising, since my initial reaction to this track was largely positive. However, now that I have the full cut, I have trouble getting into it. Sure, I generally love post-160 bpm eurobeat, but just as anything else, it needs a strong melodic backup to actually stand out. Rebel Yell doesn't have this. Clara is very furious and wild in this remake, but aside from the thick, driving beat, nothing here seems to be supporting that. The vocals are powerful, but they don't standout because they aren't backed up, and synthline is just plain repetitive and uninteresting. It's really not much beyond just a basic, fast song with no musical cohension.

18. I LOVE MY DOG / VIVI: (9+)
As we just recently got a new dog, this song is quite a coincidence. I enjoyed Vivi's tracks on 163 and 172, but for a chance she presents us with a song that's softer and has even more heart than her previous numbers. The track makes me think, in a positive way, of Christine, and even though fans have pointed out that it's not really supposed to be taken seriously, it still always makes me feel extremely warm inside. It may not be for everyone (sorry ditz), but for those who can enjoy it, it's pretty much an ideal song under the youthful female category - cute, innocent, and full of heart.

FINAL SCORE: (8)
The 180's have been pretty solid so far, but I think the level has been slipping slowly as it continues. While 186 is still pretty solid, like 185, I haven't really been listening to it really loyally as I did with 181 and 182. There aren't really any songs here that I'd call my favorites of this decade, and the CD managed to produce quite a few poor tracks as well. Bravo to the introduction of Saifam and SinclaireStlye (and Dima on 188), but I was still hoping for far more this time. Who knows, it's a nice compilation nonetheless, but definitely not one of the better releases so far.

Bore
and Yes I Will remix is the best remix we've had on any of the bonus discs but these aside the majority of the material just goes by kinda unnoticed.
I hardly even mention the second disc and to say the truth I really never play it again after the first TIME, but this TIME I have to agree with Bore and say the Cherry's "Yes I Will" is strictly WONDERFUL. I don't know if it's the slower bpns or Italo/NRG soundworlds, but it works perfectly with each listen. Compare it to songs like Madison- Without You or Kevin Johnson- Don't say Goodbye. I dare say I enjoyed it more that it's original version and much of that is due to the cowbells and Dead or Alive melody. I also hear a tad of Shy Rose- I Cry For You. SUPERB!!!

Super Rider aslo gets kudos, just for the fact that we get an epic ending compared to the crap edit AVEX presented on SEB 184. Fastway is also good with the effects on looping the ohoh's. It sounds even better. The only one that sucked was Christine- Yeah. The original was very good, but this version resorts to adding childish effects( X shoutouts) and that blows the whole song for me. Those looped drum effects are also overused to the point of annoyance. A total dessecration of a rather good Christine song.
