My song for the day which happends to be a new remix of an old Elena Ferretti song:
Lisa Ferrari - Love In Music (Digimax Timeless Eurobeat Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjZafWkneX8
Beautiful new 2016 remix of Elena Ferretti's Vibration release (Energy Revolution).
Feels like 1989 all over again with the traditional older eurobeat feel. This remix nailed Laurent Gelmetti's style.
I sure do miss Elena and have a healthy appetite to get any more new material with her in it.
For the meantime, this new remix does the job
Original Vibration version for comparison:

"Love In Music" is the one with that great "tick Tock" intro. I rememeber that one well. The song also fits the older Italo style perfect because of its Synth riff. This version sounds like it came right inbetween "My World" and "Soft Time" The synth riff reminds me of Latin High Energy of the 80's. Great find.synthjunkie wrote:My song for the day which happends to be a new remix of an old Elena Ferretti song:

Mine is also from digimax 80s. It's a remix of Betty Blue - Changes.
This one has that Latin High Energy vibe even more present than ever. and the most important part is that mid break. I just wish these remixes somehow would find their way onto vinyl format. Songs like "Playing With Love" by Chapter 1 and Boiling Point - Starstruck, come to mind.

One of my favorite Flea Tracks ever. That year 1990-91 had some amazing songs. Malcolm J. Hill - Fantasy and Space Desire from Dave Cole are two more Corraini sung tracks of that era.MiKong wrote:Malcolm J. Hill - Tin Box
Really kicking myself over the fact that I haven't heard this until today. I love the arrangement and pacing of the track!!
I'll choose one sung by Claudio Magnani. An early Sergio Dall Ora song on Flea records called 'For Your Love" under the alias Valentino.
Those are all great! I'll choose Nick Kaye - Open Your Door and Coo Coo - Energy from that year. Great songs as well!drnrg wrote:One of my favorite Flea Tracks ever.
